Cube confusion

Can someone clear this up. I finished a second rite mission and was awarded a cube. I can't seem to find it though. It's not in my inventory. It doesn't seem to have done anything to the encylopedia. I can't see any gauges or places where it shows I got it. What am I missing here? Where is the cube?

An Amber Cube is not an inventory item. It stays in your encyclopedia.

But I didn't see anything change in my encylopedia. There was no amber listed. No new entires.

Raynes the cube is a reward and gives you a new stanza or more focus, etc. depending on the rites. It's nothing tangible.

Ok, so how do you tell what you got? There was no message and I could see no additions to anything pertaining to my character.

It shows in your System Window.

Ok, just want to be clear on my understanding of this. When you complete a mission that gives you a cube, in the system window it will tell what was awarded. The cubes don't really exist though. There is no record kept for the player to see how many they have obtained either.

I really don't remember seeing any new stanzas or system messages. It could be that I overlooked it though. I will have to wait until I get home from work tonight to look again. The mission I am talking about is the one for the Zorai that the cheif guard gives. The cube is awarded by the sage. So if you do this mission and get a reward, please let me know what it is.

I hope it is not a training thing. I'd hate to be awarded a new stanza that I couldn't buy because I have no sp!

I was lookign for those awhile back. What files are they?

client.log and log.log, they get deleted on each start of ryzom and restart from there, they seem to contain the same things, but i never bothered to do an in-depth check
one nice thing: they contain all chat :)

in your spoiler I thought it said an increase in your SAP. open the encyclopedia and under the circles for the rites missions along the top it had a colored square(cube). I think that is the reward cube.

The mission that said I recieved the cube was a different one than the encylopedia entry. The mission itself had to do with a chest to hold the cubes.

I will look at the logs when I get home and see what they say.

Not exactly true, it was my second rite mission. First one went off without a hitch.

Mine too - I did the melee crafting Rite with no problem then went to do the chest Rite. Now I'm stuck as I can't get anyone else to give me a Rite quest till I get the chest completed. Or at least that's what it seems like - I've talked with every NPC I know of in and around Pyr that claims to give Rites...
*sigh* I'll just keep bugging the barman as Cerest suggested. Maybe he'll have a drinnk for me this time :)

I can't get the barman to do anything for me at all. He doesn't talk or offer a mission window.

I am having this problem too. I did 26 prereqs and now I'm NOT getting the rites mission in my encyclopedia for the ones I am on. Two players who did the missions AFTER being told to do them have the rite description in their encyclopedia.

Both matis rituals i've tried so far have been broken. Chest of Wisdom and the harvesting mission. Two weeks ago I scouted mission mats in Majestic Garden. At that time the mats were actually in place where the mission sends you but now they are gone. Luckily I know of an alternate place for the mats so I'm going to try that place when I get back in game.
