How much Titles have you got?

I want to see who has to most titles "earned" from skilling and leveling in game.

So, not counting "Homin", "Refugee", "Elder of Atys", "Kami Champion", and "Wayfarer", how many titles do you have?

A buddy of mine have 63.

I stopped counting after 30, besides I only use one title which you can't solo to get.
It reflects my playstyle the best I think (no generic or RP titles yet, even sent tickets about it).
And the title is ... *drum role* ... Priest :)

I think they should let guilds give a title to it's members. Not multiples, just one per member. Like "Sub-Lieutenant Peon", for example. :) To avoid confusion, an indicator next to the title could always be there (an asterisk or something) so people know it came from the guild and not from Nevrax.

How hard could it be? It only took one patch to give us that silly "wayfarer" title. Shouldn't take more than 3 attempts to make a feature like this work. :P

Opens it up to too much abuse. Don't know about you all but I wouldn't want to see someone walking around with C*ck Master as their title. Having Officer/High Officer/Guild Leader titles might be cool though.

That's why it should come only from a guild's leadership. And to me, it falls under the same rules as character names. If you choose to call your character something offensive, the software will let you, but if someone complains (submits a ticket), you'll lose that name. Same rules, same abuse potential. We already see people with names that are kinda stupid, so how is this any different?

I Have not seen any game that does that to this day.

EVE Online actually has that... of course there are no titles you can choose, but CEO/director (= Leader + HOs in SoR) can grant titles. Of course the titles have to be within the rules of the game, else 'the powers that be™' come along with their nerfbat ;)

nerfbat?!? What a great idea for a new tree! Can't be any worse than leveling ranged melee. (sorry, I know, totally off-topic, but the thread is already spiralling out of control)

Make the new tree branch at 20 along with ranged so I can use it to help noobs level up by tanking for them. Sure, the nerfbat won't do any real damage, but it would have a chance at stunning the mob out of the sheer silliness of some idiot Tryker slapping him with a nerfbat. Nerfbats rule!

Or we could have nerfbats that generate a fear effect in Yubo's only allowing us to enhance Yubo-ball games by using real bats. Since they wouldn't do any real damage, the YLF folks shouldn't be as offended by our attempts to play with the cute little pissers.

Earth and Beyond did. We came up with our own list of rankings which had to be approved by the devs. We had magician type ranks to go with "Ballistic Mystix" - like a high officer was a Mage. Our leader, Solsister, was our sovereign, etc.That would be a cool thing to do. I Have not seen any game that does that to this day.

Answer to question: Not enough, yet. :)

As for the guild assigned titles, Shadowbane has them, and they are a part of the guild structure. They cannot be made up by the guild members, or leaders, but are already programmed into each guild type. Example: Barbarian guilds had ranks beginning at barbarian, some of the other ranks were like Karl, Jarl, Thane, etc. That solved the leet boiz doing crude things with the names.

53 but only about 48 would count for lvl titles , only other one id like is the Deff Aff 100 Title (on lvl 99 atm ) but realy cba to play this char anymore until more rites or outposts are patched ingame. Oh and Gratz to the 63 title geeza :)

PS Id like to see Guild Titles (High Officer /Officer /Leader ) as options too plus maybe some Titles for getting ALL branches to 51 / 101 / 151 / 201 / 250 <--- GOD ?

lo Sin hehe ive seen you a few times though not on a character youd recognise as me , im currently lvling a Matis and having some fun on the sub 50 lvls , ive also got four chars on the ATS (checking out rites and tribe fame) so im still quite active in the game though im not lvling my main character (Petej the Zorai) anymore.

Jetep (my Tryker) was a casualty of the merge (although i logged him in the day before Grrrr) but id not lvled him much anyway so nm , hes back on lvl 1 now lol

So what lvls have you got ? combat to 250 + 150 in all the other main branchs ?
