Server down!

I'm very new still, so I don't know if this is usual, but the Euro English server is down for me right now.

Anyone else? I couldn't find a post about it being scheduled. Is this a regular downtime or what, anyone know?

they are doin maintence, it was annonced 15min before on the servers.. 1h downtime aprox...

Server went down around 22:30 GMT so u have about 25mins left to wait.

actually two servers are up now and the european is next so within 5 min is my guess... check the server status page...

Basically everyone has been suffering from massive lag.

A number of system-wide messages went out during the day : "We are aware you are all suffering from severe lag and are working on the problem".

As far as I can tell the devs have spent most of the evening working out a fix for it and have taken down the servers to apply the fix (which is why the outage wasn't advertised).

Hopefully when the servers come back up the lag will be fixed (fingers-crossed).

And for the new people worrying about the stability of the game - this is the first real server stability problem we've had since the game went live 2 weeks ago (and in that time the servers have been down twice). Actually pretty good for a brand new MMORPG!

Seems they fixed the lag by excluding the players from the servers. Can't get past CONNECTING either . =(
