You're presuming a biology that's the same as other homins. That puts the orifice used for smelling things behind a mask that can't be removed. After a while, that's gonna get a little rank.

Unless, they've evolved to be able to smell from some other orifice. Maybe their ears? In that case, don't stand next to them when they sneeze. :)

Or maybe they just can't smell anything and have nothing that remotely resembles a sinus cavity anymore. No sinuses... no sneezing.

Or, lastly, it's possible the mask was designed to be porus in nature and it absorbs the sneeze. Over time, the sneeze causes changes in the configuration of tatoos on the mask. Zorai who seem to change their tatoos regularly should be assumed to have some sort of allergy or other significant illness. Fortunately, since the sneeze is absorbed by the mask, they are much less likely to pass their illness along to you and I.

(all theories are fully tongue-in-cheek in keeping with the original post)

Zoraļ are supposed to be evolved from gibbai and they don't seem to have any nose to sneeze from. All homins are supposed also to be evolved from humans, which might explain the closer similarities between homin races than between gibbai, frahar, cute and the extinct momo. So I think it's logical, if indelicate, to presume that Zoraļ have nasal cavities at least. Saying that, I don't remember ever seeing a Zoraļ sneeze ;)

A Zorai's mask isn't on top of their face, it's part of their face. The other races have a layer of skin, the zorai have a layer of bone that makes the mask. So the nose holes you see are the nostrils just like the other races.

There are many unanswered issues about Zorai ...like: do they have to cut their horns when they grow to big ?...Are they family of bodocs ?Can u feed em after midnight?
Nevertheless,my main concern:Is it allowed to keep a Zorai when he's not housetrained???
I was considering of taking care of Zahan for a week...Since he didn't got his quota on selling Insurances this week ,and might become homeless soon if he continues at this rate ...

When you drive-thru MacD should you order the meal option? You know Z wants the fries but how will he handle the diet coke? The fizzy bubbles go up the nose, so where is that?! Umm, come to think of it, much more importantly, how does Z eat the sandwich?

I know for a fact the masks can and do come off.
I saw Mentaloid remove his. Of course he was drunk atthe time and hitting on my pet yubo.

What really happens when a zoraļ sneezes is that the masks take themselves off to the kami (http://jamela.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Masks.JPG) to be cleaned and reconsecrated :D
