Very nice... I hope this game gets a lot more followers, because perhaps then MMO developers would in the future think creatively instead of spewing out the same again and again.
BUT, the developers of Ryzom should honestly fix the animations of ranged, so new players aren't disappointed by that when they subscribe. It was a major let down for me seeing my toon running with his back to the monster, honding the gun in front of him and magically hit the target behind him.
Make animations for running ans shooting with all weapons. Also make an aimed sniper shot that takes perhaps 5 seconds to charge, that does increased damage. Make the character put the weapon up to his shoulder and take careful aim. It is that kind of detail players love... and ranged miss that kind of detail.

If I'm not mistaken, Sol's a Brit. I suspect that might just have been a bit of tongue-in-cheek sarcasm. 'Course, all you Brits sound alike to me! :p

It was through this article that I discovered the game! :) I hope the influx of players will be a good thing.

i have one a lot like that, lol, an aimed sniper shot, just use max aim for head, max accuracy and no hit rate, that'll give u a slow shot, and with an OP weapon a very nice chance of stunning :p
