Hey all,

Just wanted to say thanks to all of the employees of Nevrax and our friends at Jolt as well for having a bit of grace during this time in Ryzoms life. With the current impending news of transfer of ownership, and the dark cloud that has befallen many of our community during this time (especially on these forums), i can't express how much respect i have gained for you guys for coming through on this new patch for us that we're getting tommorrow, as well as Jolt for continuing to offer the same CSR services that they have provided throughout the past month/s on Atys.

While we gamers express frustration, sadness, and loss over the possible death/rebirth of our beloved game, in real life it can only remain just that to us, a game (well, maybe more of an OBSESSION to some ;) ) . While we're worried about such things as server mergers, population increases/decreases, and what changes will come with subsequent patches/updates from the new owner, you guys are most likely being served with something with much more weight on your lives, the loss of your jobs and livelyhoods.

Yeah, for all i know, all of you guys could still be around under a new companies name next week and thats the only change, but that would probably be viewing the situation with a little too "rosy" of an outlook in reality for you guys. I think it's more likely that many of you won't be continuing on with us here at Ryzom, and this patch is to be Nevrax's, and many of yours' "swansong" as you make your exit.

Its hard to lose your job, but its even harder to lose it with a bit of style and grace, and from the communities as well as my own perspective, your work on this patch appears to be just that. Thank you all very much, and for those of you who won't be with us, good luck wherever you may end up.

Yes thanks I love the csrs in this game they are a fun lot and they got level heads

I was gonna post something like this but didn't want to act prematurely and was hoping whomever picked up the game might pick up jolt as well.

Unforntunately with the change to the free membership trial access only a couple of weeks into the game it was obvious nevrax was having some kind of problem and I remember posting that I had seen 2 other games go under just recently and was worry this might be number 3 (I have bad luck I guess)

anyhow yeah I hope this one doesn't get destroyed although its looking less and less likely that whomever is picking it up isn't going to compeltely change the game so that it becomes unrecognizable as ryzom

LoL, my thoughts/posts are not Beefys friends, but i'll be sure to say hi to him from you guys. I'm simply a good friend of his, see him regularly throughout the week, and relay information from/to him occasionally, as he lacks the capacity to master the intracacies of the modern computer. :)

He has however expressed to me his many worries of the possiblility of him becoming homeless...

...so in his absense, i think its safe to say this go-around, that we share similar thoughts on the subject, and wish all of our friends at Nevrax and Jolt the best of luck this holiday season and into the future.

Got stuck in a hill last night at an OP, Zhaozan was there in 3 minutes, pulled me out and I was back in the frey immediately, NO OTHER GAME, has CSR's like we do, Props to them and hopefully we will all still be together in the new year.

Looking at the patch notes....Possibly the best patch list ever in Ryzom, created in very trying circumstances, you guys Is Teh R0x0r!!!!111ELEvEN!1 :D

I read an article by Kostika yesterday on mmorpg.com re-reviewing MxO. She said one of the things that let it down was the customer support. Made me chuckle because I figured her view was biased because of our great support team. :D

Environment GFX, Combat, Community of gankers, crafting, skill trees..... All play their part in creating a totally crap experience.

Yea, i'm sure anyone who leaves Ryzom and returns to the world of "corporate gaming" will be regretting it at least as far as the customer support is concerned. The first time they happen to find themselves counting the days before other games staff get back to them, with their generic emails, or having to deal with their first phone rep, i'd be willing to bet then they'll remember how spoiled they once were.

one of the prime reasons i choose to play ryzom was the fact that even on a free trial i got cs responses within minutes.... two thumbs up!

THANKS Nevrax for this Great Game and the Great Support in my whole Play Time....U are the BEST Support Team i ever saw and i wish u all the Best....i will never forget u Guys and i will keep the Good times in my Heart,how many Fun u gaved me ,how often i have laught cause of you and how often i had a nice talk with you guys,this was my Best Time i ever had and for that i cant say often enough Thanks :)

Very true, I played MxO during beta and was impressed with the slickness of the character creation process. Very cleverly done. Rest of the game just didn't grab me though so can't really comment.
