Candy Canes

Okie Dokie.

I missed out on the Candy Cane thing before because I had the whole holiday thing going on. I am fine with that. Only, there are people now on Cho with candy canes. That shouldn't happen.

Then, I find out they are getting these candy canes from CSRs? Is that how I'm supposed to get them now? Ask for a candy cane from a CSR? What if the CSR doesn't like me, etc? Why can't I buy my candy cane from the 1H merchants, like last time? How is this fair?

Yeah, I'm a bit annoyed.

i got my candy cane(s) on the merchant 2 years ago, so if they are there again, i might get some more candy ;)

One day, I even stood along side with Rikka and a guide, Rikka and me with our candy canes as guide staffs lol... (shame i deleted that pic!)

It's a 2h low lvl mace/staff. It pretty much is useless as far as gameplay is concerned, but it DOES have the ability to load up with 250 sap...so you can enchant it up with a "fear" spell or whatnot, and scare away some yubo's with your newfound christmas cheer. ;)

My response from a guide was that it is given to people that are seen helping people, since there wasn't much else to be done as they couldn't patch it in due to the craziness that has been going on. Which is a pain 'cause I had to turn of Universe due to spam.

But, I was then told that all of the WoW kiddies are gone because they get muted permantly from Universe...


To bad I'm going on vacation and can't help out enough for the candy canes

When I (Gwyneth/Cho-RoS) was given a candy cane (I call it my "Festive Boat Hook" because "Candy Canes" are lame, especially for pirates) by one of the CSR, I was told that it was because I had been noticed as helping newbies (mainly by answering a myriad of questions in RoS-Region over the last few weeks). I was also told that Beefy would be getting one for the same reason (presumably for his stirling work trekking young homins across the face of the planet).

This gift-giving was un-requested, so I highly doubt that begging will get you one. It was suggested though, that nearer Christmas the canes would be on more general release (I was just getting one a bit earlier as a "thank-you").

Oh, thanks to the CSR team for the gesture. Much appreciated.
