I try to tell the kamist this when we get on the subject of thegreatdt, they like to abreviate with dt, and I make sure they know that tgdt is not you, not possible. Feel proud of me, I sorta kinda keep your name as good as possible...

Well, just go through some of the "we need/want..." Threads on these boards and you have them all and in better reading condition.
What he proposed was essentially:

- Make another Uni-Chat (for him alone to spamm ;) we donīt have to read it, if we donīt like it, yīknow)

- Raise the levelcap on silan to 35 (because thereīs no real chance to try out stanzas with 20)

- Make the game free (because, Quote: no one wants to fork up 15 dollers A MOUNTH! )

- The game needs no advertisement for itself (because word of mouth would suffice and DEVs are not realy needed, ... I guess...)

- Shut down Cho (because its useless and spreads out the oh so thin playerbase too much.)

- do something against to few players playing in U.S. hours (because heīs feeling lonely, I guess... to many AFK Players)

*shrug* All these points were allready discussed (with emphasis on "cussed" :D) to the point of mootness. So I wonīt start another rant and flamewar now. But Iīm sure somebody will in due time :p

He also suggested Ryzom advertise on MySpace. Funny, he'd just acknowledged that the WoW community is bad, but he seems to have no clue why that is...
but lets face it the vast majority of WoW player community sucks hard i belive if u all had a myspace add or just got the members that play the game and have a myspace page to talk about the fun they have then you would instantly see results in player population

Dear tgdt,

We appreciate the input, but you must come to realize that gaming forums are a world apart from IRC, AOL chatrooms, MySpace, and other Internet properties of which you might be able to maintain some control. You are dealing with a rabid, disobedient lot, which generally requires the full-time commitment of a dedicated resource (or more) to restrain.

The old axiom of, "the best defense is a good offense," does not suffice in this realm; the best defense is simply to ignore, while the best offense is to identify with other, like-minded individuals who will help throw fuel on the fire. On the other hand, concepts like, "join'em, if you can't beat'em," are impotent strategies; forums thrive on conflict, and more than one post has harkened the death knell of solidarity.

That said, I commend your effort to share some music, which you obviously feel is quite important to your self-expression. Now please, if you would: Try to limit your responses on this thread to inquiries as to whether we would like to hear Duran Duran's, "Hungry Like the Wolf," or Slayer's, "South of Heaven."

Nobody can truly fault you - unless you stray from the topic at hand.

Sincerely,

Bob Jones

I agree :)

Even though Iīm a competitor on the small Radio market ;)
Itīs realy not easy to send out music that everyone likes.
Just like itīs not easy to please everyone with the features of a Game ;)

I think Iīm going to stream a bit myself now.

Have Fun folks, wichever broadcast you listen to :)
