Well I personally wouldn't say in general that the GMs are not helpfull. There are some issues that have not yet been encountered before which means that even the GMs can't help you with that. Some things have been send on to the devs... so that is gonna take some time.
I for myself am very happy and pleased with the quick responses and help from Guides and GMs and as far as I can tell they work hard on getting everything fixed and done.
So if it takes more time, don't be so grumpy.. they are humans afterall.

I have only had quick responses from guides and GMs to all my queries, and I havn't had any problems with degrades. Indeed I have used some of my items (including a mage staff) for over a week now, and its all over 90% hp.

well, do you play in large groups killing stuff 50 levels above you?
My experience is that the normal guides answer very fast, but when something is sent to the seniors... that takes time. Still waiting for a response on my broken armlet.

Actually for that I got a response extremly quick. I sent in the ticket and got a response right away with the addition that they will contact me as soon as they know something. And the armlet thingy is a problem that the GMs have little to do with. It was bugged from the beginning on.
And for the decay... I have been playing in groups and we have been killing mobs around 40-70 by now. And I can't say that my equipment is decaying badly.
And I think that there are less sGMs as GMs. So that should be considered as well when trying to get a hold of them.

Ok, when you start killing stuff of lvl 130+ you will start to notice item decay for real. 1-2hp per item and kill. :(

Well the GM's are very fast and efficient for me.
BUT the original poster is right, once you start grouping and going after big mobs, you will notice all your equipment loses about 2hp a kill, meaning every few hours you have to get a new set of armour, weapons and anything you are using on the mobs.
Its not fun to spend a day collecting mats for new QL 80 armour, only to have it destroyed in a few hours of fighting.
