Ok I'm really pissed off now.. last week I decided to upgrade my account. I filled out the form, and sent in my paypal payment. The same day, I changed my mind, and went to my account to see if I could cancel the payment. It said if I clicked the abort link it would cancel the paypal payment.. I did... and it sent me a conformation saying the payment had been halted. Tonight I received an email saying the payment had been completed!!

What I want to know is how in the hell the payment could have been completed if it was already aborted? What the hell was the point of me aborting the payment if it was going to go ahead anyway?

You can be certain I WILL NEVER recommend this game or site to anyone I know.. Last thing I want is my friends to get ripped off too.

The whole point of PayPal is that they deal with the money, not the people who provide the service (in this case, Ryzom).

Blame PayPal. Send them (PayPal) an email and they should refund you.

Unless your friends are as impetuous as you, they should do fine. You went through all the forms asking to be allowed on the mainland and all other benefits of registering. You authorized PayPal to make the purchase for you, then (at a later time) went back to the SoR site to cancel a payment you authorized thru PayPal... and expected immediate results ?

There is no fault to anyone on this site, seems you are registered and paid for at least a month. All the things you agreed to before you hit "submit" on your registration.

Relax and enjoy the game for a month, for 50 cents a day you'll probably survive.
