Why am I being charged 18$ a month?

I thought it was 15$ a month, but it comes out past 18$..can I not pay directly with my Card or through paypal?

Are you using the pay-by cash option? It clearly states that company will charge a service charge. Payment options are available here (http://www.ryzom.com/newcomer/subscription-options). If you wish to change your payment options, login in to the main website and once you havelogged in you can change your payment details.

This isn't a US company and I think it a method to make up "exchange" differences... one might wonder why your claiming a higher charge but still on trial ?

The companies we use to pay bills charge a fee... I guess being tight on cash they add this service charge, it wasn't always this way. They used to be glad to have paying customers...

If you use BiBit there are no additional transaction charges. Pay-by-cash charges an additional transaction fee. This fee goes to them for processing your order, not to Gameforge.
