P'raps he doesn't want people streaming vids over his bandwidth? Sending it once instead of every time you watch it?

Many people have essentially unlimited download bandwidth, but most web hosts have limits and/or charge for bandwidth served by your site. Streaming a vid a bunch of times instead of serving the rar file once and letting you watch a local copy would eat massive bandwidth. Youtube is a crazy insane bandwidth hog, I don't know how they can turn a profit.
