Most of the times, when a new game is released, the game company usualy does a contest where new players can win something.

You guys just have to come up with something that would be worthy enough of that contest and make new players want to win it. It has to be something which has meaningful desireable value added to the players.

ideas like :
- win an outpost
- win a lvl 250 alt player
- win a lvl 250 armor/weapon
- win invulnerability for 1 day
- win multiplyer thingy (you know those things that can multiply your XP by 10)
- win an apartment
- win a free membership to any guild of his/her choice right from the beginning
- win a free trip to have lunch with the dev team
. . .

Moved to Brainstorming Forum.

Also, selling game characters (or using them as prizes, etc) is against the EULA.
