It's probably closed because the sheer traffic of everyone re-patching their clients would render the server lag unplayable, they are just giving it time to settle down...

they are re-patching, it's normal it being closed..... thankfully the repatching I hope ryzom is back what it was.

Its probably the crafting and foraging patch.

If were lucky itll tone down the creatues too. If you looked at the names of the fiels there were all regarding the zones so, like i said, probably the forager stuff.

it did go back up then back again down... I HOPE they will patch again and fix monsters this time. at least now I can harvest.

There's meant to be a balancing patch being put on today. Some of the fixes from Patch 1 were a bit off so I think they might be doing something about it....

And as a side note I'm really pleased with Patch 1. Though everything might not be hunky dorey just yet, improvements have been made and depth added. Bit of tweaking here and there and it'll be fine.

When the server shows as online and the message comes up with shard closed that is fine.

They do this often, the Arispostle Shard as I understand it is part of a larger server network, the patching shard is often still functional for example so ppl may patch while the arispostle shard is down for further maintainence.

This is a common occurence for a patch and everyone experiences it.
