I'm supposed to enter some sort of preorder code?!! I entered the code I received with the game, but that didn't work.

Am I doomed not to have the buggy arm piece? Anyone else having this problem?

I noticed that the preorder code is case sensitive while the game serial number isn't.
I hope its as simple as that ...

My EBgames.com preorder code is not working either. I posted a thread at http://ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=569 with the same issue :(

Perhaps this helps:

If you ordered from ebagmes and did not get your pre-order code - Look up your order on thier website and call the number listed under "Questions? Please call". Tell them you got you pre-ordered Ryzom and didn't get your pre-order code. They then will email it to you.
