Beta Names NOT Saved!!?

Just tried to create my character with my name in Beta and the name 'Warspawn' is now 'invalid', which, I assume, means that it's already been taken. Anyone else with this issue as well?

And yeah, I chose "update beta account" at that option's point.

Thanks!Did you have all the other names in that account deleted, with only "Warspawn" left ? If you didn't delete the others I believe they said it would have saved the name of the first character slot... this was all posted when the offer was made for us to maintain one player name.

If you have done all this, might a simple matter of asking the CS team to look into it. They can change your name in game as long as there is nobody else currently using the name and it falls within their guidance. If there is another using the name, it might be more difficult...

Thanks DT; as for the names, one of my names was saved, 'Javance', while 'Warspawn' came up as an invalid name for a character. I contacted a GM via support and he told me it was a known issue and that my name could be changed later by him as soon as they correct the bug.

No, I think there is a bug. I had no problems to create my char with my name, and I also had no problems to create other Chars I know, which were in the open Beta and still have no copy to play :-(
So just the account was saved, but no Char names I guess.

PS.: I know this for sure, because my second beta account with the saved char KATHI was also available for Harti (I took it in case my doughter plays).
