Preorder code problem?? [Archive]

Hey, I just received my copy of the game about an hour ago and when i eneter my preorder code that i received in an email from gamestop.com it says its an invalid code?? anyone have any idea what the problem is, or has it happened to someone else? i triple checked the code to make sure i had it exactly right.. :(

Mine is same from EB, they said later today they will send me a new one. Maybe get ahold of gamestop and see

I put my code in with all caps and it took after it had rejected the code when I used lower case letters.

That's interesting, I've heard of the EB pre-order codes not being valid but Gamestop too? Hmmm. Well here is their customer service number: 1-800-883-8895. You have to call them and see if they're working on the problem or not, I'm sure they're aware but you need another code. So go ahead and bug them :) Good luck.

Well just to let you know it seems the pre-order codes didn't have PREOR at the beginning and then a repetition of two characters in the middle. i.e. an incorrect code mmp8ghwu4c9c9ckknr6req notice the repeat of 9c9c, drop off one 9c, and prefix your code with PREOR and you should be good to go. This fix worked for me after comparing a second pre-order account that had a properly working code.

I did not get my pre order code. i sent mail but got no response. i been playing for a week. hope i can add the code when i get it. dont wnat to lose the last weeks work just for a bonus item

My code comes out invalid if I do lowercase or caps, it has PREOR at beginning and no repeats in it.

It's from Gamestop.

Same problem here. I really don't care about the ingame item, but the ATS is where the COOL people hang out
