I can tell you and I are going to have an interesting relationship on these boards, Heilsbringer. It is possible that it could of been referring to players who have been with the game since beta 1 helping new players understand the game (learn how to survive on the living planet). Or it could of been reffering to some NPC patched in for those times. But that would mean it would be something you didn't consider and from your answer I see that just isn't possible.

Weird I was in barkdell last night (my starting city) and I did not see this special char anywhere.

He showed up a little early around 8:45 on the dock, everyone who cared, came and sat down infront of him, and he proceeded to start warning us of the kitin invasion, that will happen soon. He told us to train, and stick together. We got to ask him questions about our home of Atys some which he could answer and gives a little more forsight into the story. I then asked him if he should show off his Autolauncher and he declined, few moments later we asked again and we all started running off the dock to watch him maul poor yubos with his launcher, This was very cool for a event and alot of people got into Roleplaying mode for this, I was actually surprised so many people got _this_ deep into the story so far. Im impressed with my community. So there you have it. The tryker event :)

Very cool. I am concerned about the one that will be held in Zora. It's a big place with lots of people and buildings. How are we to know who the person is and where they will be?

I went to the even today in Borea. What a great little get together. The GM stayed in character the entire time. Even when players out of character were doing distracting things, he stayed in character and even made some really amusing remarks.

Even though GM Takashi came into game 20min before the event started, and made a big announcement, I'm not sure everyone knew what was going on. I suppose with all those people sitting and gathered around, he was a little hard to pick out. Still, the informal nature made it seem like a little humble gatherhing.

Very well done. I look forward to other events.

Yes, how many more will we miss out on? :p

And of course all my American friends have playing for almost a week now and are level 40 or more, while Canadian delivery is now looking like the September 30th. And it's not just me; all the Canadians who played in Beta and pre-ordered are sitting here grumbling. A good percentage of the North American player base is missing out on the important first weeks and will be hard pressed to catch up. :mad:

I was really looking forward to playing Ryzom with my friends, leveling up together, trading items, helping one another. I can no longer do that. It has been lost to me forever. The enthusiasm I had for Ryzom is almost completely gone. Another week and it will be too late; I'll probably give up. :(

Thanks Pandorae, but I'm actually quite involved with the guild I helped create and promote, the Out of Cavern guild (www.outofcavern.net). I probably would have been an officer of the guild (may still be yet), but by now most of the positions have been filled. :(
They all feel pretty bad for me, and will give me lots of dappers and armor and weapons, but I will not have earned any of it myself. :(

I'd like to throw in a vote for the N.A. West coast players however. It would be nice to see some 9:00 PM PST events as well. It can be hard to make it home from work for those EST events. :)

Basic explanation.

Right click on empty box at the top of the screen. Choose new action. Then choose the type of action you want, say Offensive Magic (or whatever it's called!)

Once that is chosen, you can choose an action, say Acid 2 (if you have that). Acid 2 has to be balanced by an equal amount of sap or sap/hp which you do on the other side.

Look at the bottom. If the green scales balance or you have a bit more sap...that's ok. It's pretty simple once you understand the basics.
