Just wondering about the differant races?

Ive played this game since it hit the shelves. I read the book and picked the Fryos because they seemed to be the toughest and strongest. But, is there any real differance between the races? They all seem the same to me now, except their looks of coarse.

Unique racials traits and skills were announced to be in the works a while back. I think perhaps the upcoming patch 2 will diversify characters of different races by more than just looks.

Yes, I've also heard that the races will be different very soon.

right now the only difference i know of is a spell at a really high level and that's about it for now

I think eventually they MIGHT patch in changes other than a post 150 spell that is different for each race.

I know that Trykers have more challenges due to location and sheer number of agro mobs near their harvesting areas. Matis and Fyros are pretty much the easiest to level in ALL skills, more material nodes of the type players will actually USE closer to towns. Zorai are pretty much ALONE from birth until the day they STUMBLE into either Fyrosian or Matisian territories.

THAT is the sum total of the differences at the moment, as I see them.

actually zorai have the easiest land to run around, been to them all, matis and fyros have a bunch of aggro, tryker is lots of water

I hope whatever they do to the races doesn’t discourage/encourage choice between fighter/crafter/forager/mage because I’m sure there are plenty of all four in all races.

Well, thats what I thought it would be. One race good fighters. another would excel in casting. The Trykers were, I think, saposed to be explorers and like that. Each race was to have a small edge in some ability

but no disadvatages please:) that would be like EVERY MMORPG out there.... dont need any of that... extra perks for being a race yes, no weaknesses tho, unless in magic...

Well I’m working very hard on my Tryker mage and would be most unhappy to find myself at a disadvantage in a few months in the field of magery.
