View Full Version : How Does Second Racial Weapon Choice Work?

I already am in the process of advancing Matis Weapon Crafting, about level 90 now.
I am considering also doing Fyros Weapon Crafting.
I see only 1 skill tree for weapon crafting, so I figure this applies to all 4 Racial weapons.
If I start Fyros weapons now, does that mean that the experience earned will be negligiable? (because I have 90 Matis already, and Fyros starts out at the bottom) Or am I misunderstanding this? How does this work to efficiently advance 2 racial weapon choices at different skill levels?

You just need to go to Fyros and buy Fyros Weapon Craft up to your lvl and the needed wpn craft plans.
Skill tree is common for all races, so if you craft fyros swords, you get exp in swordcraft
as mentioned in other cross-race craft threads, you can only use fyros choice/exc/sup, prime roots, or any fine/basic mats to craft Fyros items... not matis (forest) ch/exc/sup

Thanks for the response.
All I need is enough Skill Points to get to the same level as my first racial weapon, and the experience will be the same.
Will consider this when/if I get that many Skill Points.
Thanks

Not useless. Especially if you have enough SP =P
For example I can do all nations high Q magic amps in Q180 (only 2480 SP).
So once you have all the items of your nation and all the bonusses (imho only HP and Focus are worth getting) you can start collecting other nations crafting.
This is only possible though if you diversify your crafting and get SP from other subtrees. Jewels are a very good SP resource, even though its a pain to lvl them.
