Looking for a charcter planner so I can max out my long range goals of the ultimate cleric type charcter for grouping. Hope their is one all ready somwhere ? No offense meant but if you want the ultimate cleric type why dont you play a game that actually HAS archetypes?

SoR's strength lies in its charakter versatility and that you are NOT forced to pursue a certain path imo.

No offense here either.
One thing that is the most appealing to me is the open class system, similar to Ultima Online.
I had grand dreams of being a tanking, healing, treasure hunting, craftsman in UO.
I had limits is UO, but they were good limits.
Nothing is stopping you from being a great healer, I imagine once you play with making your custom spells, you could be a Buff/Heal extravaganza.
It would seem to me though, that almost every player is going to have a heal spell of some sort.
This game doesn't limit you to one field, but nothing is holding you back from being the best in that field. Remember there is a fame system in this game too:)!!!

Like they said, there are no "clerics"... but you are free to be anything you want to be... just advance your skills in the direction and you can call yourself a cleric or anything else you like

I guess the closest to "cleric" you can be is a mage-healer/smashing weapon fighter. You can start with 2 magic packs and 1 fighter pack, or 1 magic and 2 fighter packs to reach your goal. Specialize in healing spells and smashing weapons after that. :)
