Server Downtime Sep 28!

Could you not have been a little gentler with the shutdown? . I was promptly shoved off the server with one of those nasty client crashes that shows an error box with various violations and asks me to debug, ignore or quit (should ask me to just kill the process from the task list, which seems to be the only thing that works for me).

"Only" had four of those crashes in the way too many hours I have been playing this great game since I got it last Friday, but I hope they will be fixed eventually. Seems a number of people are having them occasionally.

I was online when server was closed and i only have seen a connection lost box so i logged off i have all laterst graphic drivers and patch DX9c if this can help you ..

As in, I have a bad feeling that characters may get corrupted if you don't log yourself out when the server is going down for maintenance. Well, maybe I'm just paranoid as that was the case way back (some people got corrupted characters due to that), but better safe than sorry, aye

I hope game didn't save my char coz I picked up some stupid skills
And... these downtimes are kinda good, can take a shower, eat, watch it raining outside and ... wait untill ryzom is up again!

Server Status says UP after I log in. However when I click the Accept button on the License screen a window pops up stating "Error: the shard is closed." If it is supposed to be down, it should be good if the server list screen stated that. If its suppossed to be up now, you cannot get in.
