Question Weapons with particle effects and on-hit bonuses?

Being a sucker for flashy items, I was wondering if it is possible (at high levels) to craft weapons with special damage bonues such as acid or cold, and more important than the extra damage of course , with a particle effect such as a blue glow for cold damage, fire for... well, fire.

And now that we are on the subject of flashy items, are there a great number of visual variations in armor and weapons even within the specific races?
Will two Tryker heavy armor suits or 2h swords at q100 always look the same (with the exception of possible color variation), or are there several different models or decorative patterns to choose from?

I guess I will find out sooner or later myself, but I am just one of those people who love to have a lot of info served to me even before I begin something .

Weapons can be Enchanted with spells. Check the manual for how to do this.
There are various grades of armour and weapon type. Normal, Medium and High quality.

Yes, I got that much from the manual. But the "use item's enchantment" function (or something similar I think) made me believe that enchantments had to be activated rather than being an extra amount of "elemental" damage added on top for instance?
Nevermind that really, the more important question here is whether I can look forward to some pretty, sparkling swords at high levels?

Yes the enchantments have to be activated. The weapons dont have a permanent, always available "extra on top".

Burning (fyros), electric (zoraï), living (matis) and waving (tryker). Fire, lightning, poison and shockwave, respectively.

Finally someone understands what this is all about! Anyhow, go for the living (poison) kind of weaponry. The weapons are dripping with poison and it leaves cool traces of the said substance behind you when running

So does this mean I can use weapons (and other items such as armor) from the three other races - assuming poison is Matis specific as you indicate?

I was just about to start a new thread regarding the ability to use items not of your own race, but the question seems to fit nicely here.

You can use other races' gear, no problems there.

I'm wondering what that "race specific" thingy will be in the coming updates...
But at the moment you can use all equipment from other races (a zorai in tryker shorts looks quite funny tho)
