max pike speed?

Hi all you pike crafters out there! Question for you - what's the best possible speed for a pike, that still retains max (or very nearly max) damage?

i think I saw a screenie from pinsao showing a maxed speed/dmg and recalling that a pike was different. Not realy sure but maybe search for posts of his, I think it was something with a challenge.

Both maximum speed (30 hpm) and maximum damage (quality * 2 + 52) is possible, even upto quality 250 weapons. You'll need to experiment with various materials to obtain it, some combinations give "firework". Not me or Pinsao wil give away the formula, its a challenge for each crafter to find it. There are loads of possibilities that give such weapons (so far I've found 3 totaly different combinations that give it).
Pikes and lances are very difficult to max, since they don't have a counterweight part. I never really tried to make a 100/100 mace, but things are looking good . As for daggers, those are a bit tricky to, since they require just a few mats, wich can unbalance the stats a bit. My point is, just play with the mats you got, and you'll find it.

Note: the maximum speed for a 1h weapon seems to be 39, for a dagger its 59 or 60 (so that gives an equivalent of 120 hmp with dual yield )

Oh, sorry, I didn't mean for anyone to divulge trade secrets or anything like that, I don't craft pikes nor do I intend to anytime soon... But I do wield them thar pigstickers, and I do craft jewelry, so I can afford the really sexxah weapons

But if you (or anyone) can make me a max damage 29 or 30 speed pike at, say, q200 (even though I can't wield that yet, I figure I could grow into it when I get back to leveling melee) I'll pay top dapper for it

Oh and hey - is the Matis Living the only pike that has an elemental visual effect?

As the maxed weapons require both sup mob mats and sup harvested mats. A Q200 will be very hard to obtain, since not all types of mobs are available that high.

it sure is, u need to be lucky and a good pr digger to get the mats, or be extremely lucky u can buy them

+ have a guild that kills the mobs for u. i could make them swords 30hp/min if i could obtain some bones

btw keoni pm pinsao bout it i'm positive he might be able to make a fyros one, though i wonder bout the matis can always try

Maces 100/100 I have

Pike atm maxi i have been able to make is 100/92, but I still dont have all the mats I want to carry on my last experiments

As soon as I'm done I might put them on bid as well on Bazaar
