Looking for a fun loving Guild

Hi Folks,

I'm new to this game and I'm still on the N00by Isle. My in-game name is Aain.

I would like to join a Guild. I'm looking for a fun loving Guild. One that doesn't take itself to seriously but still has respect and values. I'm no power gamer and I'm not looking to level as fast as I can. I want to be a part of a good community that helps out other players has good guild chat. I just play the game for the game itself, leveling is just a bonus.

I'm 34 years young and live in Whalley - Lancashire - Engalnd. I'm male and usually play between 1900hrs - 0200hrs (GMT) (7pm - 2am). I have a small family and so can't promise to be there at a certain time if somthing crops up but I can try. I tend to go AFK at a seconds notice, as I look after my daughter at night and if she calls, then Daddy will come running.

I have spent around 18 months in SWG. I had 3 accounts there and loved it but sadly that game is going down hill fast. I have also tried out Wow, EQ2, CoH and Guild Wars but haven't spent much time in any of them. I have done some research and tried out other MMO's and decided on this one. So this is my new home.

Hope to here from some of you guys and looking forward to being a part of this geat game.

We have no goals but to fight back the kitin and have fun doing it.
We do a lot of harvesting and crafting and love to spend time with new players, showing them around and trekking to the other regions as a guild. Our members are from all timezones, so there's usually people on no matter what time it is. We have members of all skill levels and also all races, but we are Karavan aligned for fame reasons.

Well, you have come to the right place Aain. Fun loving is what Out of Cavern is. We aren't misson crazed or any of the sort. We just love to help out and be a family. We are family oriented and have respect and values. We are not power gamers either. And are in the middle of recruiting for our guild. So, I have a Tryker on newb isle as well. Her name is Sazumi. Reapers and OOC are both grand. I would suggest you take a bit of time to play with whomever you would like to. Team with them a bit, see if it all looks peachy. Teaming is a good representation of the guild dynamics.

If you like give some of us a shout in OmegaV. As a note, it is always good to turn on the indicators in the interface that will show the guild symbol, and the guild name for a character.

If you have not changed your configuration it is 'u' to open the configuration screen, and then it is under 'interface' --> 'In Scene' --> 'Friends'

There you can turn on or off the identifications of others. This way you can see how people act, what they do, ask them questions, etc.

Have a go and play with lots of different people whether they are in the guild you end up in or not.

Far as I'm concerned Ballistic Mystix is by far and away the top Tryker guild.... appologies to all the other Tryker guilds... just one homin's opinion.

Welcome to Ryzom!

Aedans Artisans is a Tryker guild and has the play style your looking for. You might however be better with a guild with more UK players as AA is mainly players from everywhere else

Nice to speak to Sazumi & sehracii last night. Sorry If I was a little quiet but I'm a male. I haven't quite figured out how to do 2 things at once. So my fighting and chatting isn't to great.

I'm looking forward to getting to the mainland and that shouldn't be to far off now.

You would do well in the Illuminati. They are a very supportive fun-loving guild of over twenty Trykkers. I believe that everyone except me is on a European timezone. I only came off newbie island two weeks ago myself. Look me up in Fairhaven for teaming or advice from a fellow newcomer.

Most of our Trykers been eaten by varinx, squashed flat by ploderos or died of exhaustion fighting off Jyudas' advances. I think we even lost a few in the nooks and crannies of our guild hall. Ah well, plenty more where they came from.

I didn't used to think much of the little people but a rare one or two have surprised me and as part of our multi-racial policy I have to invite you to try out for our guild. So if your heart is where your wallet is, you think you can handle yourself in a fight or in a bar or better still, in a bar fight then feel free to contact one of us.

We are very experienced in kidnapping, I mean escorting, Trykers to the beautiful expanse of the desert and if you fail our bootcamp then we'll send your horribly mutilated remains home on a packer*
