Here are the Leagues and rankings for each of the 24 leagues currently going (excluding the team league which can be found in the other thread). If I have made a mistake with the spelling of any names, please inform me.

Remember this is a continuing event so the leagues should be ever changing, the rules follow on the following post.

This thread will be locked, but if you wish to discuss the event, please use this thread

Gladiator Rules

How to enter the leagues

To enter the leagues there is one condition; you must enter your own race's league. The Atys Gladiator will come later where any race can take part, but for now it’s just the racial ones. You may enter as many leagues for your race as you like

It is fairly simple to enter a league. Choose which one you want to enter, for example the Fyros Masters of Magic league. You may then challenge anyone on that list to a fight, you can also challenge someone who isn’t in the league, if they accept you shall both be entered into the league. Upon entering the league you will be awarded one point, you must earn more through fights. To learn more about challenging people to fights, please read the section further down entitled "How to challenge people"

Rules for the fights

The rules for the fights depend on which league you are competing in, however there are some rules which apply to all:

-Stay inside the area the CSR judge specifies or forfeit the fight.
-Enter duel-mode before the fight starts, but do not fight before the judge has finished his "3, 2, 1, go!" countdown.
-Do not use the shout command, only the CSR judge should use that during the bout.
-The judge's word is final.
-You may re-fight the fight only if both competitors agree, or the judge asks it (due to a problem with the fight).

There are other rules dependant on the 6 events:

Gunslingers:

-Use range weapons only
-No melee
-No magic
-No enchantments
-No auras
-No self heals
-Any gun or ammo is allowed
-No use of Aen, Lixie, Sergio and Pei armours

Masters of Magic

-Use magic only
-No melee
-No range
-Enchantments are allowed
-Auras are allowed
-Self Heals are allowed
-Any magic is allowed
-No use of Aen, Lixie, Sergio and Pei armours

Dual Bladers

-Use daggers only
-No other melee
-No range
-No magic
-No enchantments
-Auras are allowed
-No self heals
-No Medium or heavy armours
-No use of Aen, Lixie, Sergio and Pei armours

Heavy Gladiators

-Use 2h weapons only
-No other melee
-No range
-No magic
-No enchantments
-Auras are allowed
-Self heals are allowed
-No use of Aen, Lixie, Sergio and Pei armours

Medium Gladiators

-Must use a 1h weapon
-Use of shield or dagger in second hand is optional (up to you)
-No other melee
-No range
-No magic
-No enchantments
-Auras are allowed
-Self Heals are allowed
-No use of Aen, Lixie, Sergio and Pei armours

All rounders

-Anything is allowed so long as you stay in the area
-Any melee
-Any range
-Any magic
-Auras are allowed
-Self heals are allowed
-No use of Aen, Lixie, Sergio and Pei armours

How to challenge people

To challenge people, you must first decide on the league you wish to challenge in. You may contact someone on this list through the use of ingame e-mail, /tell or over the SoR forums. This person can be on the list or, if two of you aren't already in the league but wish to enter by fighting each other, that is fine too. If someone in the league rejects your offer or doesn’t respond to it, please see the next section entitled "Rejecting duels"

Once you and the fellow player have agreed to fight, you should try and agree on a time to do it. You should also contact the CSR support team to judge the fight so it can be made official and effect the rankings. The best way to do this is to send a /tell to Calebrien if he is on, or an ingame e-mail. If not, ask on klients if we can provide a judge, or advise another CSR who is online that you want to fight. Please note that not all CSR are trained to judge these fights, so it may not be always possible to have a judge available at your preferred time.

Please ensure you include the names of both fighters, and the exact league you are fighting in when contacting the CSR staff. For example "Calebrien would like to fight Dever in the Matis Dual Bladers competition please."

Rejecting Duels

There can come a time when you challenge someone to a duel in a specific league and they say no or don’t respond.

If they are not ranked on the league and refuse, then leave it at that. However, if they are ranked on the league and refuse, please send a screenshot etc of this to Calebrien@hotmail.co.uk . The reason being, if they refuse a duel then they will likely loose some rank points in that league.

If they do not respond to your request (and are ranked on the league), please send a /tell to Calebrien if he is on, or send me an ingame e-mail detailing who you challenged in which league and I shall inform you of what to do next.

How the Scoring system works

The scoring system may seem complicated, but it is actually quite simple.

Upon entering the league, you recieve one rank point. You may only gain more rank points through fighting other people on the league.

How many points per fight you can win depends on your position in the league to that of your opponent:

If your opponent is 3 rank points or less away from you in the league (eg: you have 5 points, your opponent has between 2 and 8 points) and:

You win - You gain 3 points
You loose - You gain 0 points

If your opponent is 4 or more points higher than you in the league (eg: you have 5 points and he has 9 points or greater) and:

You challenged him and you win - You gain 5 points
You challenged him and you loose - You gain 0 points
He challenged you and you win - You gain 5 points
You challenged him and you loose - You gain 0 points

If your opponent is 4 or more points below you in the league (eg: you have 9 points and he has 5 or less) and:

You challenged him and you win - You gain 0 points
You challenged him and you loose - You gain 0 points
He challenged you and you win - You gain 1 points
You challenged him and you loose - You gain 0 points

As you can see this makes it pointless to challenge people far below you in the league as you can gain nothing from it. However, if they challenge you, you may still earn 1 point.
