Hello from me!

I am Rylaan (pronounced rye-lun)

I have not been around the MMO scene for very long. My whole experience with them began with beta testing City of Heroes. From there to WoW. From there to EQ2. From there to EVE. From there to SW:Galaxies. From there to here!!!

I can honestly, honestly say I like every single one of those games. I am still pretty much in awe of the MMO concept, and the community of players that can be found. I am sort of a "shopper" I think. I love to try games looking for one that "fits". I have come to the conclusion that I need something with a bit of depth, a bit of fun, a bit of community, a lot of maturity, and a lot of freedom to develop. Ryzom is my latest stop.

I am a casual player that loves to both solo and group, loves to both fight and craft, loves to play for days straight and take long breaks. I have just now started the 14-day trial, and my initial impressions are positive. You will laugh, but the toughest decision I am having right now is choosing a civilization. I lean toward the Matis for the armor and character design. I lean toward the Fyros for the backstory and Civ philosophy. I lean toward the Trykker for the free-spirit and comic value, and I shy from the Zorai for many reasons.

So, if you see me in game, I will go by one of 2 names, and would love for you to say "Hi". (Rylaan or Siobahn)

The community so far has been nothing short of stellar. Just wanted to introduce myself.

See you In-Realm.

Ah, Matis is a fine choice... come to the mainland as soon as you know the basics and you'll find a livelier atmosphere. Don't let the naked guy at the merchants worry you... Thats just Sinful :P
