Time (Clock)

I am still in the trial period of the game. I am coming from FFXI - (Final Fantasy XI) and so far I like what I see. One thing though, is there a way that I can bring up what time it is outside of the game while playing? In other words, do you all have an in game clock that can be brought up by hitting a macro. In FFXI they made it so you could type /clock and it would display the ingame time, day, month, and moon cycle and it would also display the current time in real life. I don't know if SoR has an in-game time or moon phases; however, it would be nice if real life time was displayed somewhere. I think a great place for it would be in the compass window underneath the actuall compass. Might be a bit much to ask but it would be a nice little thing to have

Re: Time (Clock)

you can get an approximate ingame time by opening the map, outgame time is sadly not possible
they stated months ago there was some kind of advanced time display in the works but nothing to show for that so far :/

Easiest method:

- buy an ultracheap watch at the supermarket
- cut off straps
- paste to top of monitor with doubler-sided tape

So easy, cheap and low-tech. Also it works for every game out there.

Or keep your game windowed and make the use of the time indication in the low right corner of your monitor.

Re: Time (Clock)

Closest we've got is the hour and season on the map (though we've been promised more detailed time information later), and the option to play in windowed mode, allowing you to see your computers clock for real-time.
