new to sor with a question

ok so i downloaded the client overnight and i have my free account.

im having some issues and i was wondering why so here goes

i am from swg..so im used to a fully remappable interface.

1) i cannot find any option to change my keymap - i dont like using the up,down,left,right keys to move.

2) in the newbie area i keep getting disconnected like every 5-10 minutes a little window pops up saying "Please Wait..." and nothing ever happens. Is this just cause i have free account, or am i too far from server? i live in southeast usa, florida and i have a high speed dsl connection to the internet.

3) i found it very hard as a newcomer to the game to grasp the story of this game, but the graphics are nice. its like alice in wonderland with a scifi twist, i mean that in a good way lol. would be nice to have a cinematic or something to explain the story.

press 'k' for remapping, most use mouse to move though (hold both buttons)

'please wait's sounds like router/firewall problem, check the FAQ's in tech support section

u wont find any cut scenes, instancing, etc here and yeah the islands are not great, work out how to fight and move then come to mainland will be lots more people around to help u out there.

Remapping keys can be done IG using the "K" key, but you can cause yourself problems if your not paying attention to the changes. More info can be found here:

The storyline has had some slight burps in the last couple years... but the more you know the more comfortable you'll be in your skin.

I suggest downloading Klients from the support tools section of the main site. It is an IRC client and when you login with it you will be in a chat room with the GMs and guides for the game. These guys know more about the game than anybody and can solve just about any problem.
