A message from Haldir

[IC]

I am relaying this message from Haldir, of the Order of the Dragonblades.

Quote:
"Greetings,

We follow neither Karavan or Kami, but seek to aid all homins however we are able. We have been in control of Greenvale Trade Post for several weeks, and have given freely of its resources to all homins who need them, especially those freedom loving residents of Liberty Lake (Tryker).

And now the Order of the Dragonblades calls on your aid.

A guild unknown to us, Omega X, has declared war on our beloved Greenvale. The members of the guild have not revealed themselves to us, so we have had no opportunity to negotiate peacefully with them, as we would have liked to do. In addition, Omega X has taken the base tactic of attacking Greenvale when most homin who would aid us would be asleep or just rising. [7am-9am GMT Feb. 1, 2am-4am EST Feb. 1, 11pm-1am PST Jan. 31]

Because of this untimely hour, we request the aid of all who can provide it. And value any friendships that may be made and the acts of bravery that will be performed. I am eager to greet all who will aid us in this dark hour.

- Haldir, Leader
Order of the Dragonblades"

I also have my own message which I would like to add to this. Almost every day for the past few weeks, we've been giving out crystals freely to anyone in the Liberty Lake region who needs them. Particularly homins recently arrived on the mainland, and homins in outpostless guilds. If we retain Greenvale, we will continue to do so.

I'd be interested to see who shows up... looks like someone stirring up trouble with an alt. guild. Anyone can create a guild to hide behind... it's the names that show up to represent it to take heed of.

Look at who did all the alt guild attacks previously... I am betting similar is happening here... probably the same few rabble rousers.

I'm betting a guild of a similar name is behind it...

I'm betting that's what you are supposed to think. Seems a bit too obvious to be them, don't ya think?

They do however, know a great deal about them considering the comments made in this thread. I thought we'd seen the end to alt guilds doing the attacking of OPs. Shame to see that someone is too afraid to show their face and face their enemy openly. I'd also like to state its quite obviously a Kara guild considering both Spriteh, Noin, and a few others of the Kara faction seem to be well aware of the guild and its intentions.

Re: A message from Haldir

Apparently the guild they know of is OmegaX, not Omega X.

Back to square one. XD Well, maybe square two since we now know the name of the guild's leader...

Yeah, best you blow your senseless chatter somewhere else, Morgaine and Liquado. Noin was speaking of a guild named "OmegaX" not "Omega X"

If you have something to spout off about you best now the facts. I personally do not appreciate your interest in stirring the pot.

Let it be known that I consider this to clearly be an attempt at impersonating a guild, and as such will be filing in-game tickets to report this action as harassment.

Noin.

I'm sure NO ONE could EVER get those two confused. I mean, they're not even similar. They're even spelt differently!

... and out of curiosity, how is the weather up on that horse, noin?

Yeah... You seem to be a pretty cocky fella. Very confident in your superiority. Even the positive posts seem to be laden with "Hear me, I'm am the great Noin!"

And what should we expect from the likes of Omega V? Not a far fetched accusation if you ask me. Seems to follow your theme pretty well...

Try not to forget what it's like to stand on solid ground. Maybe a serving of some humble pie will serve as a decent reminder.

Typical Matis...

Re: A message from Haldir

That is a most awkward time for most of us to be up and about. I'll do my best to stay awake long enough to help. I'm going to be most righteously angered if we all wind up standing around waiting for the would be attackers to make an appearance.

This happened to the Citizenz of Matis as well - the mysterious "Triangle of Truth" guild declared war on their holdings in Knoll of Dissent, and never showed their faces at the appointed time for the war, or indeed ever again on Atys. Eventually most of us wound up adventuring together elsewhere in the world so it was not a total loss of time and effort.

The Karavan have no interest in doing other than helping the Dragonblades; indeed, many of us have known them well before the outposts appeared and were rebuilt. I'm sure the same could be said of many of the Kami, since the Dragonblades are indeed neutral and friendly to all homins of good nature, be they fellow aethists or faithful factioneers.

Perhaps in this case it would be best for all of us who are friendly with this truly neutral guild to put aside our differences for a few hours and come to the defense of Greenvale.
