New Guild - Karavaneer Desert Legion

The Karavaneer Desert Legion is one of the few Karavan guilds based in Pyr, focused on serving the Fyros and spreading the word of Jena. We believe the advanced technology of the Karavan is superior to the petty magics and tricks of the Kami, and feel that such knowledge would serve Fyros best.

Seeking guidance from the mighty Karavan, we plan to enlighten many of our Fyros brothers and show them the grandeur of Jena's chosen. The Kami have tricked us into following 'Mah-Duk,' a false diety created by the Kami so that we would become their slaves. We do not need feeble prophets and weak magic to fight - as Fyros warriors, we will learn to use the mighty war machines of the Karavan that they will surely grant us for our dutiful service!

(OOC: My friends and I recently came over to the mainland from newbie island, and liked the look of the Karavan. Since there wasn't a Karavan-Fyros RP guild on the forum listing, we decided to create the Karavaneer Desert Legion. As new atysians, we are trying to follow the canon roleplay, but want to try something relatively new.

Karavaneer Desert Legion will be a Fyros civilization guild, aligned with the Karavan. Our RP status is SEMI-HIGH. Guild chat will NOT be in-character, as I doubt homins have telepathic powers. But 'Around' will be mandatory In-character. We are all into PVP, so the guild is probably going to be doing a lot of it.

It brings me joy to see the Light of Jena spreading to other lands and I trust you will do much to further Her cause and halt the treachery of the kami.

If you may allow me a suggestion, perhaps you would consider changing your Fyros race restriction to one of citizenship instead. Surely those the Fyrosian goverment has determiend to be noble and worthy citizens of the Fyros lands are also worthy to join you in your honorable duty, regardless of actual race.

Lastly, I would like to offer my services and aid in anything you may need during the intitation of your guild. Perhaps you could list some contact info so others can find you and offer support to the foundling guild as well.

I agree with Sehr. Limiting the guild membership to fyros race is way too restrictive, however having a mandatory fyros civilisation still makes you the "protectors of fyros" and the "bringers of Jena's light among the desert tribes"

IC: I wish you the best of luck in bringing the light of Jena to the desert; there are many Fyros who follow Jena's path, but it is too a long time since there was a serious karavan guild of Fyros.

As for the race/citizenship distinction, we hope to be honoured by your friendship whichever way you choose.

The Fyros are a proud race and while we have endured a few wayward souls from turning to heresy in their weakness, a whole guild is something that few Fyros will stand for. You will find those loyal to their race to be even harsher than the desert surrounding Pyr for those who choose the path of the karavan. If you will not turn from heresy, then there is no alternative than to force the evil from your flesh by purification through pain, and I, and many like me, will proving my loyalty to my people by taking part in your purification.
