I remeber some time ago there was news about the financial position of Neverax and that they had at one point been given a certian time to turn things around (IIRC this was a similir time to when Jessica joined)

Now i know its non of our business the exact finacial state of Nev, but just asking has it all been resolved? Is Neverax in the clear?

It is still in observation from what I recall. I think they were looking for the updates from RoS, and R2 to predict the potential future of the company.

As for Jessica, I believe both she and DCC (David Cohen Corval) are in advisory positions. (that reads to me as no pay, but still owning stock options)

If R2 is really anywhere near as good as it appears so far, it will skyrocket Nevrax off the charts. I just hope they are not ahead of the curve and that folks adopt it. BTW, is the R2 Dog and Pony show coming to the US for the big name gaming magazines/e-communities?

David Cohen is the Executive Producer of the Ring, and I would imagine is being paid. About Jessica, I have no clue, however, she seemed to be doing a lot of work when she joined -- around Episode 2.

I dont think so, as far as I heard he is off the payroll entirely. I believe so, after all DCC wants to make Ryzom successful and if he hogs even a little of the limited funds nowadays could make things unstable.

I'd think this game is looking good Subscription wise.

Of course we have a good player base, but not everyone of the new players will subscribe But it never hurts to have an additional 4k-16k quality players. I would never want to see the current ryzom with a "6 million" players though. Myself, my cousin and few other individuals are patiently waiting for nevrax to finish and set aside R2 and upcoming content... we actually have enough capital for nevrax to get a serious second chance at things. Actually the five of us really wish we had thought of the lore and the concept first ^^'

My cousin is well determined to actually assist nevrax to market this game even further to a larger audience, at no cost to them.

I on the other hand wish to gear up my small team of people by hiring more engineers and set up my small company in France itself. If nevrax accepts our help it will be my 40 guys with top equipment and skill, translators, music composers, contract with companies like directsound and more + nevrax's current team that would improve the development double fold. My interest is in the improvement of the missions, huge exploreable worlds, new mobs, different and elaborate animations for each mob. Better dynamic character and mob models and most importantly intractable objects and entities.

A friend of mine simply wises to invest a lot in ryzom but only in millions.

There is another old friend of my cousin who too wishes to invest in hundred thousands but for non-profit.

All of us are waiting with our fingers crossed. And hope things turn out in our favor... again THIS all depends on nevrax's success with R2 and if nevrax accepts our assistance.

Besides nevrax just has to accept our help if we decide to assist them... you see unlike us the fifth person who is watching nevrax intends to offer a fair sum to buy nevrax as a whole haha, she is a business titan more or less successful like my dad

Actually I should not discuss these matters publicly... hmmm. *stops*

Anyway I do hope the observation ends in a positive result, could anyone from navrax inform us if there are any updates about the observation period? Thanks.
