I'm looking for the meaning of Arispotle.
Who or what is it? I seem to remember some connection to Trykers... a town in the old lands maybe?
I couldn't find any reference besides the server name - does anyone have old documents, or a better memory than mine?

Oh and no, I don't want a definition of the like-named server

Uhm, if I remember right, there was a Tryker named (Firstname) Arispotle somewhere in the Lore... Have to look it up though.

I always thought that the term "Arispotle" was the name of that particular sound a Fyros warrior made if someone was to begin singing the praises of a Matis warrior's valour in battle, while he happened to be in mid swallow of a mouth full of ale... but, I could be wrong.

No exact answer, but you may be mixing it up with the Windermeer shard, a town in Trykerlands. They are merged now after all.

I might, but I think I have read about Arispotle as either a place or a character somewhere. Given that Aniro, Leanon, and Windermeer are names taken from the lore, one would think that there's also a connection to Arispotle in some way...

This should be a matter of honour for any player on the Arispotle server at least

Doesn't someone know who or what or where is Arispotle?

I can't imagine that there shouldn't be a story behind the name...

PS. sadly I don't speak french, otherwise I'd also tap into the french brain pool; so if any french speakers read over here, would you mind keeping me updated? I hope the post title was not too offensive...

I though he was a Tryker shipbuilder in the old lands. Made so much dapper homin use to say "as rich as Arispotle."

There may have been something about him marrying the widow of a Fyrosian emperor.
