Fellow Homins,

Atys evolves, and as the saying goes, a new era starts. An era that belongs to you, but alas, not to me, for all good things must come to an end. Your humbly servant, proud Elder of Atys, is retiring until further notice. It has not been an easy decision, and I will not bore you with the details of my leave.

First an foremost, I would like to thank Nevrax for creating Ryzom. It has been a living world, and has provided an excellent gaming experience. I would like to thank the CSRs: first, the Themis guys, and specially Takashi (Bes’GM’evah… wielder of the knitting needles of Doom), Azhrarn (pantless GM), Shadowthorn, Mintaka, Mindadar, Plangent (“Plan”), Fadinaway (someone had to come pick me up the Prime Roots when there was no way out….”uhm… I happened to dig here and in every pull I get 10 craft skill points, I guess that qualifies as a bug?”). Later, I would like to thank the Jolt CSRs: a great, professional, skilled and dedicated group, yet extremely nice people. Souls (the eye is fake, but it took me like 2 years to realize it was), Shads, Turen, Zerls, Tigs, Phae, Cale, Wae and the Fairy, Chal, Flumpster, Arimuun, Yvrelle, … many I can’t remember and specially…. Gibbons, Gibsy, Gibs (the small Tryksy Tryker that appears in Lokire avatar….that one!). thanks for that time...]“GQ/PQ, I may need cover”.

Last but not least, my thanks to you, fellow homins. There are many homins/players I would like to thank. Players with whom I shared moments of happiness, joy and sometimes, concern and annoyance. I am doing my best at this time to remember them all, but it is hard to remember 3 years history. Please take no offence if, for whatever reason, I happen to forget you.

• The nameless player, who happened to be in noob-island when I started, 3 years ago. We learnt the game together, we grow up together and we discovered together that you can kill yourself using too much HP credits.
• Sinful, a hardcore Ryzom player, strong minded but excellent MMRPG mate. Your leaving Ryzom was a blow. FBT players, such as Spahrep and Grusper, PeteJ or Dam and Axilis, and specially Melinoe, my FBT guild. Tap, Pos, Wylkie. Testing with you guys was a blast
• The Dragoons, my first guild in Atys, it was great while it lasted. Special thanks to Neva, Moon, Buns and Pos.
• The “release” Melinoes: Tap, Wylk, Ambi, Dolly, Apho, Janza, etc.
• The “duo” Sekhmet and Lathaniel (Sekh and Lath). Excellent mates and trainers in the fine art of rezzing homins, by dying often and dying early, be due to gas digging or kinchers smackin.
• Booster, who gave a meaning to the word “hardcore grind”.
• The Omegas… Basic, Thara, Noin, Spiff( the baddest and meaniest tryker), Skull, Uber & Ratara…. thanks
• The Windermeerians in general. Too many to name: Parkster the fyros native, Zzeii the hand of Jena, Vx3, madnak/Saiyin <sp?>, The infinities (Brithlem, Always, Morgaine, Schizm, Prha, Sety Uiliaryn…), Xcomvic, Badboyz, the Comitatus Praetoriam, Baxter, Vinnyq-Fyrx, Thom, Keoni, Rock, Jugger, Dazman,Chronosfera, Allegra… how could I name them all?
• The shard merge was something we were wary of. Some EE(Arispotle) players made sure we felt like home. Thanks to them. Best wishes to the first 2 Euros I met Alibooma and Loulou.
• The midg^H^H^H short trykers of Arispotle. A great group of players. The Ballystic Mystic guys (Raku, Soma, Oshido, Kilgore,…what a bunch of dedicated folks) Aeden’s Pero, Riveit, GoJ’s and Evolution (Sxarlet, Snake, Crythos, Frydeswinde, Ishy and Scarazi, to name a few), and those who left us, as Gecko.
• The Aussie, April
• The “CrazyFour”: Kye, Fasinus, Themac and Itsmagic. Crazy, true. But playing with them was great.
• Finally, in no special order, Kyerna&Xythus, the Sams (Jy, Kos, Rash, NB, etc.) , Rushin, Spriteh, Thomas, Gillest, Kibs, Ayur, the OOTN, (crazy runnie, komi, cirri) Ari, Sehr, Ema (thanks for the Avatar, it is great. It’s part of my character, and superb drawings) Jayce, Nilly, Sashtan, Groom/Xyclone, Scorpious (Flash!! Aaaaah), Yoshi, Final, Jackoo, MrShad, Tyilin, and Acridiel and the “nameless” philu, bgraz,

I forgot many, despite my efforts. I am sure names will come right after I click “submit”, apologies. And NOT thanks to: the stale Jugula, the supernode vorax, the annoying Kincher and the raging Cuttler. Bleh.
