Aaaaarrrrgggghhhh !, have to re-install Ryzom !
3 days ago, I had switched my old IDE flat grey cables for rounded ones because 1- I switched from a mid-tower to a full tower, 2- to help air flow. But the next day, when I started playing games, I had a nice surprise. All my games are residing on a 2nd harddisk.
I got a message saying it couldn't not find the game. I went to check and the folder was empty. Did a quick scandisk and it told me the drive as about to crash because it detected corrupted folders and files. So I rebooted to do a chkdsk (Win-xp) and once in windows, the hd was gone. Did a lot of testing, checking, posting, ... to finally switch back the old IDE cable. Now it sees my 2nd hd but it is still corrupted. So I will probably have to re-install all my games now. My Ryzom install file was on that HD !!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!! (old Zork thing) |

Could it be that you just accidentally switched the HDs?
Happened to me once and XP got quite confused about which HD to detect on which port. After I switched back all was ok. I hope it works out for you, but be glad the client isn´t that big. A download will be done faster than many other games. Best use the torrent, its great! CU Acridiel |
