i'd LOVE lifetime memberships, a quick way to give SW lots of money from the veteran players, i bet a lot of them would do it for the price of say, 1 or 2 years of regular fee.

I don't _want_ to sound pessimistic, but we are potentially talking large sums of cash here so I feel I must warn people. If you were to sign up for a lifetime membership and SW goes bankrupt(Jena forbid) there's no guarantee that the new buyers(If there even are any) will honor it. I seem to recall people getting stung by long-term contracts before.

I got stung by the 6 month sub, GF went bankrupt in October, my sub was supposed to end in February. They shut down the servers in February, so at least, I got to play "for free" the time that I had actually paid for....

Sounds very familiar. I subbed for three months and then three days later the "free period" started.

I figure I got more than my money's worth, though, and I'm ready to sub for multiple months ASAP, with no regrets at all.
