Crafting question

I'M BACK!!!!

Now, with that out of the way, I noticed the notes on the last patch say that we can put notes on the stuff we craft. I've crafted since then, and don't remember anything that looked like this capability.

Has anyone else been able to do it?

Re: Crafting question

Your should be able to place the note on the crafted item by right-clicking on it (iirc).

If I remember correctly you need a freshly crafted item, when the crafted item is in your bag, you can rightclick it, and you will be able to leave a note with it. You may need to wait a second or two until this option is added to the default right-click-on-item menue.

PS: welcome back

Re: Crafting question

The note is then placed where on the info screen? At the bottom, like when you enchant a weapon, or to the right, where the "crafted by: blah" is?

Pretty sure it doesn't need to be freshly crafted. My MQ medium armor set has been covering my naughty bits (barely, gotta love matis) since before I left the game, which was sometime in 2005. I can still add/remove/change the note at my leisure.

Yep, you should be able to get 256 characters worth, I believe.

Was it crafted by you, or by someone else? (sorry about the question, but haven't been able to log on in a week or so, so couldn't test these ideas)

Re: Crafting question

In order to add notes to an item, it must have been crafted by you. I checked that out first thing.
