Are there some wood or flower in the beggining island??

It would have been better if you had been more specific. Anyhow:
AFAIK, flowers are mission items, thus, if you got a mission to deliver/harvest flowers there will be flowers...somewhere...
Since wood exists in different flavors there will also be wood since there should be some harvested counterweight parts existant. In every Newbieland, regardless of species, there's a bit of low quality of almost every part lootable or harvestable.
