Teams for Invasions?
What do you suggest as a good combo for a team to face the invasions?
Assuming you get a full team, maybe the following combo? 3x Fighters as Tanks 3x Offensive Mages 3x Defensive Mages acting as healers and sap/stam givers as well as fear etc. Dont think a dedicated puller will be required as there are plenty of mobs to go around ![]() |

Re: Teams for Invasions?
You really only need 1 or 2 max healers anyway. Also organising teams quickly cant be done in this way and this requires a set ratio of players. A large hunting force of many teams is required to take down the targets, not small teams.

Re: Teams for Invasions?
yeah but these small teams form the units for larger scale groups.
2 mages, 2 healers and 5 melee would i say, why? cause during invasions your often get overwhelmed, the melees form a safety barrier between the mobs and the mages which can cast freely. 3 melee can't handle all incoming creatures and the additional ones will happily go for the healers and other mages, if healers can't cast and keep everyone sapped/healed/stammed, then the whole team is doomed. So far i only saw one kitin invasion in Pyr and we fought our way from Cerakos gate to Blackburn Trading post, then back. Most of the large kitin horde was made of weak creatures, their only chance was to overwhelm teams by attacking all together. The leading creatures (captains, prince...) need a large group as they're way tougher than anything else. |
