Bleed?
How much Extra damage does this do? Is this a Damage over time effect?
If it is doing damage, should it pop up saying "Bleed damage XXX for 20 HP" or something? Im not sure im using it right |

If u fight and hit the enemy, in your syslog it says something like "...made a big bleeding wound..." but there are no details about it, like how much or something like that. Sometimes u can see the hp going down without a hit, than u know thats bleeding ![]() mfg ganti |

Re: Bleed?
I'm sure you're using it just right, the problem is that the gain from bleeding isn't exactly something to throw confetti for. Yeah, it does take valuable hit points away from the mob, but it will hardly dictate the outcome of a battle. Supposedly the bleeding effect is cumulative, but even so..
It used to be a must have. Now it's just something that won't help much, but most certainly does help more than it hinders (if you can cope with the stamina usage).

Re: Bleed?
I've been looking at Bleed in combination with other bricks recently, and I noticed something interesting...
I made two actions, one with Bleed 1 and Increase Damage 2, the other a straight Increase Damage 3. Both had the same stamina/hit point credits. I went out and fought some Kipees using a Q20 2 handed sword. In each case, I could hit for a maximum damage of 139, the only difference I could see is that with the bleed action I did get the "bleeding massively" messages and the mobs hit points went down (a small amount) inbetween attacks. It seems to me it's just as well to use a combination of bleed and increase damage bricks as they appear to do the same (or more) damage than the equivalent cost higher level increase damage alone. |

Re: Bleed?
You'll be wasting only your stamina there, lazarus, by using the increase damage 3.
Increase damage 3 doubles damage for weapons up to Q30, it won't make the Q20 weapon do any more damage than with increase damage 2 (up to Q20, optimal for Q20 weaponry), it'll just drain more stamina for nothing. If you upgrade your weapon to a Q25 one, for example, then the increase damage 3 will do more damage than the level 2 (but the damage output is always double at max, of course).

Re: Bleed?
OK so what determines if i will successfully dodge or parry.
Whats the difference between them? Why have parry if its identical to dodge? Surely thr chance to dodge/parry must come from somewhere ![]() |

But now.. I'm not too sure. Of course, armors and weapons do have dodge and parry modifiers when you craft them, but I'm not entirely sure that are the modifiers enabled at the moment. It certainly wasn't when I last time checked (but my char was bugged anyways, so..) One thing's for sure. I used dodge all the way to fight level 85 (during last open beta) and it worked as well as the parry did, dare I say that even better. I do have a gut feeling that it has something to do with weapon reach values, but I could be wrong (as I'm not even sure that are they implemented). Also, some say that shield increases your chances to parry more, but that I haven't tested either. Not much of a help, eh :|
