All I'm Doing is Killing Yubos?

I just started this game and did not play in the beta. So far the game is good except for one thing...I can only seem to kill these little Yubo bunnies just outside my starting city. Everything else frankly beats the hell out of me.

I am mainly a magic person, but this is what I have to far:

Fight - 7
Magic - 10
Craft - 1
Harvest - 5

When is it suggested to really venture out and kill bigger things? Are groups the recommended way to gain experience in the game?

Any help would be appreciated.

Get to around 10 off them Yubos then go for the Weanling Yubos. You will be up there quick Soon you get to kill Cloppers and Kipee. Yay Just keep focusd, If you havnt grab some of those missions off the Corporals while you lvl up for some nice extra fame and dap

the nice thing is that you dont NEED to kill at all unless you want to push fight up. I am rather on the crafting/harvesting side and only beat the poor guys uop during focus egeneration but it still works at fight 14

btw - there are tasks connected to simply killing yubos or collecting certain loot so they lay down their lives for more than one good cause

Kill some more and level up more. Try grouping up too. You'll level fast. Also buy a nice weapon, that makes a huge difference.

Also you are getting skills with your skill points right? Maybe you need to choose your skills better. Level up your health so you live longer in battle.

At around 10 Magic (if you have the abilities) you can kill the weaning goaris(I spell that right?) with acid and fear. You can level off of those untill into your 20s. And their qaurterings sell very nicely.

Ok Humble here is one problem i noticed. I recomend not dabbling in so many skills. stick with about 2 till you get yourself up to about 20. Crafting can always b done in the field while waiting to heal ect. You say you are mainly magic so you need to focus more on that then fighting. You will want to get your skills improved when you have enough. Grouping is not really needed in the bigginer lands. Try and grab some of the missions to get dapper and by some better equipmet or simply ask around there are alot of crafters willing to give away free stuff I know i do. you should venture out at about 15 but not to far you wont b killing kitens until around 20 as a mage. Just focus on two skills you are advancing in to many at moment. At that level you should be able to kill more than suckling yubos. What starter civilization are you in?

With that level you should be able to kill izams or capryinis. Not sure what the equivalent is in Tryker lands. Whether you're better off doing it is up to you.

Teaming isn't mandatory in this game to progress at any point, but it isn't a bad thing either.
