I know there are many out there who got lots of great ideas, but for some
reason do not feel like doing anything about it. As you have noticed i enjoy
creating events where lots of people can take part and have fun together.

To get some new and exciting events i thought i would ask around here for
ideas. If you have any ideas of an event that can be arranged by players
without any special abilites or powers, share your ideas here. If they seem
like something that lots of people would enjoy, i will do my best to help
making them real so that we all can have more fun together! :)

Race Ideas
Entry fees of 100,000 dappers per team/player.

Idea one

Relay Team Race.

3 Teams. 1 Team in each town. (unless you got more then 3 towns.. :P)

Team 1 runs to team 2, 2 to 3 3 to 1... the entire team has to arrive in the town before the next team sets out.

Winning team gets the total of the entry fees.

Idea two

Cross country race.

Race for Karavan teleports. First player to arrive at finish with X number of karavan tickets wins. Players might need to be checked by GMs prior to race start and at finish for tickets (if possible) or players would be placed with specific items to give to racers for them to hold, to prove they had been to the locations required. 2nd option probably easier to work then first, as it would not require the large amounts of caffine, thats usually required to keep GMs alert.

Idea three

Canyon Mektoub racing. Get you and your mektoub racer from start to finish alive. (will require patch XXXXXXXX to allow mektoubs to carry the riders)

A slight alternate to this would be to do the race with people leading thier mektoub packers, these people would naturally carry the cost if the beasts were lost. As well as the purchase costs of getting one to race with.

Idea four

I'm sure i could think of others or dredge up something done somewhere else..

Winning team gets a cash price made up of moneys donated or sponcered.

Ok, now I know I've been playing too much. I read that line as-

'Winning team gets a cash prize made up of monKeys donated..."

Noooo! Not more monkeys!! :D

*EDIT* D'oh! Martin edited his original post and altered that line! Oh well, it was in there at first...

having every ppl of every world who can craft every armor with every color possible and try to make the cutest mixing

I'm font of this on a female :
matis light vest green with matis heavy pants, medium matis boots blue, no sleeves and heavy beige/orange gloves :p

I like also tryker's medium armor and zorai's light one.

We also can have a weaponry exhibition, showing what every species can craft... maybe followed with a "big auction market" :D

Ye should hurry, during winter, white background let colors appears brightly :D

Events???

By the good of Kami, we don't need no stinking events, we need a revolution! Atys for the homins! Send the Karavan back into their hovering boxes and throw all their teleporters into the deepest sea!

Well, and while we're at it throw their lapdogs, these Matis people, into the deepest sea too so that they never again will enslave us Tryker folks.

Yeah, a revolution I say! Begone with the Karavan, homins!

Did you ever try naked boxing with 2 high lvl people with around 2k HP? A fight these days will either never finish or take several hours. =P

I am going to do a mage tournament next weekend, just waiting to see if more trip events are planned and I don't want to collide with those.

As for racing events, I hate nothing more then stupid no skill required running around. The person with the highest power up will win usually (if he doesn't get lost). I can imagine a racing event like run one time from Avendale to the Loria spawn will be more fun and challenging. Oh I can just imagine people luring mobs on others and getting killed not 5 seconds later lol.

Another event could be like Find Mister X. Someone (maybe a guide) will give hints about his whereabouts in region chat. The person to find him first wins.

I like these events. They mean that most people can take part, whatever their level.

LOL I bet I could hide under your nose and you wouldn't find me on the radar. If I stand close enough to a mob all you will see at 250m are orange dots.

And a /who just confirms that i am in the Region. Which hints in region chat do anyhow.

dude, you'd be easy to find - you'll be the one with all the people standing next to you clamoring for armour/jewells/weapons/a hand getting to the realm next door etc

Yeah if a fight drags on, after a pre-determined time by the judge, they stop the fight and the one with the highest % hp wins (also other rules include no self heal etc)

I've done the event in many beta stages so I generally know how to get it to work best now ;)

I would find you no matter how close you stood to a mob. ;) As for /who yes it would, i was guessing you were expecting people to figure out which region the person was in, actually, theres no reason for an actual person to be anywhere for this. All you need, is for someone to give an acurate description of the location. Then the quest could be done whilst the hider was offline.
