I have an idea 4 introducing in the world of Atys a new challenge between races/guilds/players and bla bla bla...

THE MEAKPOINT

da game:
2 team with max members (all of the same guild) in a square (or in a pre-delimitated location) one in front of the others, each team with a Captain with have a MEAKTOUB PACKERS.
When a GM say start each team must kill the Meaktoub packers of the other team, who kill the packers 4 first is the winner (only one round, a packers cost 100.000... LOL).

da rules:
ALL is permitted: combat, wear items, cast spell, revive and so on... only SPEED UP is not permitted.
The meaktoub packers can receive all the possible commands (follow, stop and free) except "enter in stable" (obviously, lol)

possible additions:
maybe not only who kill the opposite packer is the winner but could be the winner also the team who reach the opposite side of the square with the packer alive...


Suggestions by the players and support from the GMs will be appreciated... I'm only thinking about this game and atm I never tried it, so if someone wanna try it 4 a match let me know.

yes... the problem is reach the packer with 9 players against you... ;)

Maybe it would be more interesting if you take a normal player char instead of the packer.
Rules would be the same but the player who is chosen to play the part of the packer isnt allowed to have any weapon or armor (poor guy).
Auras wouldnt be allowed (no melee protection and so on) but the team is free to use shielding and everything else.

Again one good offensive mage can take down someone in 1 hit, 2 for higher levels

so mages are only allowed to heal. that solves the problem.
and i like the idea of the player being the target alot more. it makes it more difficult and more interesting unless the player is a dumbass and the AI of a mektoub packer is more intelligent then him.

also to make the event last longer you could say that the player needs to be killed 3 times<--- 3 rounds so the team that gets 3 kills is the winner

offcourse the targets of both players need to have the same amount of hp to make it fair.

maybe in this way:

the meak is like a ball, 4 win the match the chaptain must lead the meak in the opposite side of the square, the meak CAN'T be hit (who hit take a penality, 4 example "-5 points").
in this way a chaptain can die more and more times but an healer can revive him so there is no problem about "1 hit and die..."

lead the meak in the opposite side of the square = 10 points
kill the opponent meak = -5 points

3 round for a match

sounds cool?
