At the ball last night we had a discussion about the war and that we need to organize our efforts to win this battle. As a start, an event will be held tomorrow to learn the basics of how the quests work and to get more spawns to people.

A few events to help with the invasion missions.

This event is on monday 10 / 1

At 14:00 GMT we will start in pyr and move together to the different
outposts there and perform the missions. During this time you will all be
informed about how it works.

At 17:45 GMT we will be starting to collect people at pyr to march to matis. This is an chance for those who does not have the matis spawns to get
some more.

At 21:00 GMT an event will be held in matis where we will move together between the different outposts and everyone will be informed about how things works.

This way we will start to unite all the lands of atys and working together,
towards our common goal: To crush the evil kitins that are invading our land.

If your want to know the reason for these missions, the following post can provide you with some info.

The harvest camp is very isolated in matis lands, but it is quite important to get supplies here. They will provide the materials for the crafters. Although it will be hard to access, if only a few homins can pass back and forth between the harvest and the craft camps, surely there will be a great increase in arms and armor creation. Many of the resource masters have yet to recieve sufficient secretion to make a batch of the raw materials, but when they do, after submitting your next batch of supplies to your craft master, they will give you a voucher to take to the resource master, who will supply you with materials for your next batch of crafting.

As many of you have surely seen by now, the craft master will have you bring the finished package of arms and armor to the armorer in the war camp. This is very important, because the armorer needs 5 packages to outfit a guard group. The more complete packages they recieve, the more homins they are able to equip to help fight the kitin attacks.

Remember now Homins, they are setting up, but they have not yet begun their attack. They are bound to attack soon so stay watchful Homins, and get to work! We must further our defenses.

Zorai, remember your camps lie just to the west of Zora and spread north to south. Matis yours lie on the border to Knolls of Dissent and the Harvest camp lies farther north, just south of Smitten Mount. Tryker folks, you can look to Bounty Beach for your camps. Finally for the Fyros, your camps start in Dyron, and spread east.

Be Vigilant! Be Fierce! Be Victorious!

I have created a form for discussion about the invasion and gathering of
information about it. With the help of Kaetemi i have put together a guide to
the invasion missions, but information is still lacking, so i need you all to help out.

Endasil,

You missed the whole point of the discussion at the ball!

It is to rally people in the fight against the kitins in the regions that needed it most. (Tryker and Zorai, at the moment!) The idea was to comine all forces, so to raise morale in the regions where it is needed most and get some victories to show it is possible.

Dyron is the easiest spot to fight against the kitins, so that is why it is needed the least. In my opinion Tryker needs it the hardest, because the region is very hard to reach, and you have to fight the event mobs AND the normal mobs as well. (Up until today, the Trykers hadnt even reached the Master of War yet!) It seems Zorai needs help to at the moment. So lets
concentrate on those countries first.

And if you want to gather more people for the event, please take into accoung that a lot of people work or have to study. So if you plan an event, please do it in the evenings or in the weekend. Otherwise the effort will be spoiled because not a lot people will be on...

So please have a little more patience before you pick a date for an event!

There is no reason multiple events can not be held. This is just a small start.
And if you have read the posts from the devs, we need to do the quests to
win this, not just create generic hunting groups and kill off kitins. :)

Why spend days planning before doing anything, when things can be done to
help while planning is under the process? I want to help people have fun and
work towards what will help in the war.

The event i am holding is a part of what you have described, i just can't explain why in a clear enough way to you for some reason, feels like we are talking two different languages. :=)

I dont think its that "hard" to get there, its just annoying to have to swim from WM to Bounty Beaches and then still a bit further to the camps.
Even worse, some camps aren't protected. The master crafter camp which is the closest to the entrance from liberty lakes has some cutes and kirosta around it. When i checked it out there was a cute standing right next to the master crafter....maybe these will get guards equipped later, once the crafters deliver enough equipment, which is unlikely when aggros are in the way.

TBH people go to dyron because its just a lot easier:

Water nearby,
City, spawn, ticket area nearby,
Mobs are lvl 70-110, whereas loria for example is 170+, although the normal, non-invasion type mobs are harder than the invasion mobs, they are still harder to kill than the ones in dyron and they drop exactly the same stuff since ql doesnt matter,
You can get from dyron safely to the other camps, without having to kill anything at all

However it is still quite possible, a lvl 150+ elementalist and a healer could easily reach the camp with guards, master of war, trove etc, south of the portal.

The one thing which would really help, is a progress bar on the building of defences. Cause currently nobody knows if what they do actually makes a difference at all, since there is pretty much no noticeable difference, so people give up after a while. The one difference i think i saw was when i dropped off some military packages at the armorer, and a guard sometimes popped up nearby him. Although this could have just as well been a guard that was just slain.

I think its a good start. Its not that big a deal if we start in fyros or matis, when we done with them we can move on to tryker and zorai. At the very least lets make some progress on Fyros or Matis, so we know how to get the other lands done.

In that regard, maybe we need to choose just 1 land to focus on?

Well over the course of the last day about 6 Zorai Soldiers have taken up position at a tower close to the Master of Resources, however not actually in her camp :(. They were not there on friday.

Also this morning we couldn't get generic mat coupons but after handing in secretions they have been handed out for the rest of the day as fas as i know. (tested this with someone i handed in 120 secretions just before they completed a craft mission)

Excellent plan Endasil, I comend your foresight.

All homins and guilds should plan on attending this very important quest. It is after all our first great challange here upon this tiny ball of dirt we all call Atys.

I work during the times of your event and do wish that
I could be there but since we have no idea how long this invasion may last we should move now and not wait for the weekend when it may be to late for us all, the time to act IMHO is now.

What i have heard there is some relationship between the different craft missions. If the npcs have not recived enough materials from the harvesters, they wont give out any generic mats until more has been provided. So when you gave in secretions, the npc could convert it to raw materials.

Yeah, there is some info here:

We know where is harvesting camp (near Smitten Mount Farm). Best way to get there is to teleport to grove and walk. We can try from Fyros and Secret Source area if ppl don't have Grove tps. No idea about location of harvesting mats for this event. Any info?

In Matis there are secretion resource spots around the Matis Border Guards camp near Towerbridge way. A large group of people fought their way there last night and defended the area while the foragers got busy and pulled the mats til the sources were exhausted. (Up to q 80 resource spots I believe). After that we fought our way to the Master of Resources camp to hand them in and them on to the TP spots in the Grove of Confusion.

Hopefully, this means the MofR can now receive a more steady steam of secretion now a few more people have these TPs. Ideally, a regular battle to the resource spots would also be undertaken in order to get a faster supply of secretion than hunting/quartering allows.
