En fait, choisir plus finement quelles réputations on souhaite influencer.

Je n'ai encore jamais eu de mission de mission dans les Primes, aussi. Ce qui me fait penser que j'aime me balader dans certaines régions indépendamment de "qui" j'aide. Cela pourrait aussi être intéressant de demander des missions par région. Avoir les missions des trois tribus du Nexus serait amusant, par exemple (enfin, moi, ça m'amuserait de les faire dans ce cadre !).

J'aime bien le mécanisme de ces missions journalières, cela offre un petit challenge guidé et sympa. Cela fait aussi découvrir des missions que je n'aurais jamais pris sinon. Mais parfois je suis frustrée que ça ne s'applique pas au lieu où j'ai envie d'aller ce jour-là.

Vous avez d'autres idées et envies pour ces missions ?]]>

It would be real cool if this were possible, as I have around 9K mount peices and 7K zig peices.


I have a Gubani mount, and one of each type of zig available ( frippo, yubo, and gubani) .....

I keep getting more peices, and have no use for them.

I am up to 12404 gubani mount parts, and 9236 gubani zig parts

would it be possible to recode - repurpose the "old coin turn in - exchange" to do this?
I am currently (during ATYSMAS), able to exchange the withered coins for atysmas coins, and choice coins to spend on the wheel.
this is why I am asking about the recode for the coin turn in.

( i know it is possible, if the devs think it is worth it)

Mais j'aime vraiment le fait de pouvoir donner des objets aux gens (ou d'en recevoir !). D'autant plus que ces objets sont vraiment sans enjeu gameplay, il y a un côté vraiment "cadeau". Lors des derniers jeux d'Atys, l'un des personnages avait proposé à un autre une peluche en guise de "lot de consolation" pour l'effort méritoire sur la course, par exemple, avant qu'on se rende compte que les peluches n'étaient pas échangeables. C'était un beau geste qui n'a pas pu aller au bout.

L'économie du don présente dans Ryzom est l'une des plus belles réussites (non planifiée) du jeu à mon avis, et tout ce qui la restreint est dommage. La véritable économie (non capitaliste, en plus, ce qui est superbe) est entre les joueurs.]]>

To clear up confusion and set the language I see two definitions for the term 'Action Bar' being used.  To explain the difference:

Term 1 - is used to refer to your 'Primary' action bar which has 10 separate bars (or pages if you like) available for use with different skills.  For clarity, going forward, I'll refer to these as 'Action Bar Pages'

Term 2 - This is being used to refer to the difference between Action Bar #1 (aka Action Bar /Hands) and Action Bar #2
I've added an img below to show the 2 action bars:



The idea of he second action bar, whilst is a good idea to enable Homins to use skills from more than a single action bar page simultaneously is ok, but it has 1 main limitation. Action Bar #1 and Action Bar #2 are in fact duplicates. But, what if they weren't duplicates and could be used as 2 independent bars?

When looking at the range of skills (Magic, Melee, Dig, Craft, Ranged etc) it's easy to see a situation where Homins run out of space on their action bars. This can be particularly true where a lot of macros are used for equipment groups, dig, boss hunts etc.

Taking crafting as an example:
If a Homin were to level Melee Weapon crafting, the crafting plans can be bought for all 4 races meaning, 1 action bar page could have 4 stanzas (one for each race) just for melee weapon crafting. The same is true for Ranged, Armour, Jewel, Tool crafting stanzas etc and so, it's easy to completely fill 1 action bar page solely with racial crafting stanzas!

Should action bar #1 and action bar #2 be completely separate?]]>

Donc, au niveau du code, c'est pas de changer le code de base général, mais plutot d'ajouter une sorte de bonus d'évent sur les avatars, un peu comme certaines potions donnent un bonus de 20 en volonté pendant une heure, on pourrait activer le bonus de l'évent en parlant à un PNJ d'event et ensuite on aurait l'icone du bonus (un petit sapin par exemple pour atysoel) et ça me parait simple à faire (mais je suis pas expert à ce niveau).

Exemple :

- si la période est active
- si le bonus a été activé au niveau du PNJ d'event
- si Ortaven fore au moins dix matiéres correspondant à son level, ou si il chasse des mobs ayant un niveau situé entre - 50 et + 50 comparé au level de Ortaven, alors il gagne automatiquement un (ou plusieurs) item(s) standard(s) d'évent dans son sac special
- ensuite, il peut échanger ses items standards contre 25 matiéres génériques ou 5 bottes de paille méga concentrées ou une matiére d'avant poste (etc) et pour limiter les gains (tempérer les passions décalées) on pourrait faire un cooldown pour échanger les items, ou faire qu'on puisse avoir certaines récompenses une seule fois pendant l'évent et si necessaire même qu'on puisse pas les échanger.]]>

Instead, think about why they are even going through the added hassle of constant alt-tabbing and solve what you see as "a problem" at the roots instead of simply banning a symptom and having some people give up on PvP altogether. Those who have the potential to be good at PvP are savvy enough to know that it's better to master handling one toon in a fight before adding the complexity of alt-juggling anyways, and the competent alt-using PvP-ers are trying to keep things interesting by developing a new skill instead of merely staying with the same-old-same-old. So banning alts would punish those who don't have the potential to meet the high expectations some have and those who are trying to stave off boredom by expanding their skillset, but would not make for more good PvP-ers.

As for a point you raise later in the post, the hardware requirements for running two clients is not steep, especially not compared to the requirments to run a single instance of many games made after 2015. Given that I can dual-client at 1080p on a $500 PC from 2014 and still keep my framerates high, I'd say that PC hardware is not a big issue.]]>

We made now some changes on the Event:
1. Readd the SavePoints
2. Give Starter Npc a Option to start Game from Level 0 or from SavePoint
3. Start from SavePoint (Level 350) will start the Game with Level 340.
4. Matis Arena are no longer closed when a round is running
5. If a Player join a running round and the round have much higher Level as the Player´s Level he will only Level up with +10 Levels and not jump to the current Level. If Player`s Level are higher nothing will happend.

We also fix the bad Rewards for Level 350.
Player who get the bad Rewards, should go back to the Npc and retake the Rewards for Level 350, this will add the missing Items

1. Silan is not only place to farm rendors (which is epic) and to sell focus heavy armor (which is also epic too) for insane amounts of dappers, but also land with it's lore.

2. Silan (as island) unofficially named so after name of city Silan (which is now Ruins of Silan). This part of lore will be main for the idea.

Memory refreshing part:
from here ( https://en.wiki.ryzom.com/wiki/Silan#Ruins_of_Silan ) we have:
"Ruins of Silan: A city which was built by the Matis when they resurfaced. The Matis began experimenting with the intelligent plants in the region, namely the slaveni, to make extracting resources easier. This eventually led to the city's downfall and the ruins are all that remain of it."
and
"Throne room: A little way away to the north of the village is the Throne Room, also in ruins."

So we have (at least) old (almost forgotten nowdays) matis city, governor of this city (or may be even king, tho governor with forgotten name will be better in this case) and mad (evil) scientists with genetic experiments and classical fiasco at the end.

3. Idea is based on:
- few years ago there was event behind Yrk about all the same matis genetic experiments with plants with all the same results (fiasco),
- micro-giga rendor boss from last august rendorfest days (the one which was held in the throne room),
- old classic Anlor Winn events with ghost of ancient dead historical persons acting as ghosts and communicating with players for some strange dead reasons.

4. So, the scenery of even may looks like this:
- Players slacking around ruins for some unknown players reasons, must be looting.
- suddenly a ghost of some not very evil mad scientist appears in front of them.
- this not so very ghost takes the players for his contemporaries and informs them that, as usual, a disaster has occurred. City is already in ruins, so it's better to visit governor, he have plan (tm).
- ghost governor ( ofc at Throne room) tells a story about what they wanted the best, but it turned out as always and something needs to be done with the plants. Something there is a threat to the whole planet and so on.

*** here can be other ghosts and/or even stages of quest progression, like to find ghost of almost evil scientist which is holding some strange artifact allowing passage through overgrown passages (fence like in the maze near FH) or something like that (who (scientist) can be killed to pick up this artifact. Or exchange it for the scientist's favorite plush toy that Yubokin stole (and who will have to be killed to get the toy and exchange it for an artifact)) And so on. (It can be even few days parted event. Or not, it's just idea, not full scenery here.) ***

At end players doing epic stand against super plants and his boss/bosses (and scientist minions (kinda like Lixie have)).

Players win, the threat to the world is prevented, the ghosts calm down and disappear rewarding players with mountains of dappers and lazer rifles.

Exemple d'une collection de décoration d'appartement :
1. trouver et looter des items, qui pop aléatoirement sur une région, qui seraient reconnaissable d'assez loin (comme les sources fleuristes)
2. la collection contient 12 items que l'on pourrait voir dans une page encyclo . Les cases seraient grises lorsqu'on aurait loot
3. une fois la collection finie, l'objet poperait en récompenses dans notre sac spécial ou appartement

Réussir à finir plusieurs collections pourraient ouvrir des pages rp, ou pourrait offrir un titre ...

Bien entendu cette idée est ensuite applicable pour un peu tout, du loot nommé, des objets prestiges... Cela pourrait être répétable, ou pas, selon le gain, l niveau de difficulté de la région...]]>

Il faut peut-être revenir aux fondamentaux. Si les gens ne savent plus quoi faire des lots, c'est peut-être que les gains sont trop faciles

The gains are not "too easy" if you have to think or learn how to get them then put in effort to actually get them. I would argue that it's actually harder to figure things out than simply remove options and take all of the thinking and learning out. Simply forcing everyone onto the same path by removing options makes things easier, though less fun. If you're worried about things being "too easy" then you should welcome the difficulties of figuring out options instead of advocate for their removal. I'd say that having people figure things out adds the type of difficulty that keeps people engaged whereas "back to basics" would strip Ryzom of the depth, flexibility, and mental engagement that makes it interesting.

Regarding trading potatoes specifically, while I generally oppose making things difficult for the sake of just being difficult, I feel that Elyps and Nation Points are easy enough to earn that I have no problem with potatoes remaining non-tradable yet difficult enough that it's still trading one form of work for another instead of an absolute gift like some seem to think. It just seems "too easy" because it's not the way it was done pre-Merge, and change is bad.]]>

Imaginons que je sois un nouveau joueur (qui n'est pas immédiatement avalé par une guilde), je fais mes levels de mélée et, oh surprise, je vois un fyros avec une hache enflamée...trop cool ! Je me précipite pour demander au fyros les spécificités de sa hache...

Ein Icon, welches einen Chat direkt mit einem / den CSR öffnet, nicht-öffentlich, wäre etwas anderes und könnte sinnvoll sein - könnte aber schnell dazu führen, dass alle Leute alle trivalien Fragen direkt an die CSR senden statt den Universumskanal zu nutzen.]]>

Especially "magic instant cast" of weapons is a must-have on Silan. Which is really powerful and is used by the majority of all players.

The game mechanics should explained ingame and not primary on the wiki and other pages.

I find it a little odd that a toon can obtain a fame title of “Atys Citizen” when you are excluding both Tribal Fame and Marauder protection/accessibility within their basecamp. The game mechanics allow for what I just describe above to be achievable (I am not saying that it is easy though) and I propose a new fame title and the prerequisite for obtaining and maintaining (this is similar to a Zora Awakened where you need to be 100/100 Zora/Kami and be granted this title – if you slip in either, you lose the title).

New Title: Atys Emissary

Prerequisite: Neutral/Neutral/Undefined

1. All 52 Tribes must have “maximum positive fame” achieved – then maintained within a 2-point margin – example: if your Arid Matis maximum is 50, then once achieved the lowest can only be 48 (simply impossible to maintain all max based upon game mechanics) – this would apply for every tribe based upon their maximum fame level (some are 30, some are 50 and some are 80 – for this particular path that I am mentioning; I understand that aligned toons will be able to achieve 100 for certain/specific tribes but not relevant for this topic).

2. All 4 Civilizations must be “neutral” and all 4 must have a fame level of minus 30 (no less, no more) – minus 30 allows for entry into the city, protection, and tradability. This balance is required for #3 (Marauder part) to work – the protection is tied in with what tribes are aligned with what civilization and what your fame is with those tribes. (You can still enter a city beyond minus 30 but no protection nor tradability would be afforded based upon your tribe-associated fame).

3. All 3 Cults must be “neutral” allegiance with Kami and Karavan at minus 30 and Marauder at plus 30 (no less, no more/again perfect balance is required) – minus 30 allows for the purchase of all neutral teleporters (including Nexus) but excludes from any Q250 zone and Prime Roots – plus 30 for Marauder allows for full protection entry into the Basecamp (but no tradability) but this access is predicated upon your Marauder aligned tribes to be at maximum positive fame. Also, your organization needs to be undefined just as when you created your toon on Silan – this is not negotiable (actually, this is the most important part of this entire journey). Any defined organization will not work for this journey.

I understand that this may not be very popular (for one reason or another), that when an individual starts a journey, he/she either read about the Root ball, have friends who played a particular way/style, wanted to follow a particular idea (I did. I was one of only a hand-full of Zora Awakened on the previous server, and for about 1yr after the merger) – but then the roleplay idea leaves and you just want to hang-out with toons with no issues that would or could be brought about by choosing sides during an OP war, or who to hunt or dig with, and even being a Ranger seemed to have issues of not being truly “neutral”.

So, I will end this the same way that I started it, I believe that a new fame title should be given to toons who truly want to represent Atys to the fullest. I understand that there is no true “representative interaction” between toons with regards to tribes, war, and cult beliefs but since the game mechanics allow it, then maybe we should recognize those toons for the efforts of representation because even though they may not represent your idea of “game play”, they are representing the whole of Atys.]]>

But what would certainly be much better is that once learned skills, from a point, are learned automatically. This then reflects a training. The basis is learned from the teacher, this basis is improved by practicing and leveling.

Let's take raw material harvesting as an example. There are 5 main areas:
  • Raw material harvesting (initialization stanza)
  • Acceleration
  • Rate increase
  • Quality
  • Focus balancing

Acceleration and rate increase divide again into gentle and aggressive.

The idea is that once you have learned "gentle acceleration", from a teacher, this skill improves quite automatically from a certain level, since it is not, a completely new skill, but only an improvement of the first one. A completely new skill is still learned from the teacher.

On the one hand, this reduces the possibilities in the teacher's window and creates a better overview, on the other hand, it makes leveling up a lot easier, because you don't have to run to the teacher again and again because of an improvement.

Also there should be a message that this ability is available and you can change it in the action or it will automatically change to the new stanza in every possible action module. Points to learn the new ability, will be automatically deducted, or these points will be deducted from the total possible points and will simply not appear in the system.

If a player has, say, level 100, and has not yet learned " gentle acceleration", only "gentle acceleration" will be displayed to the teacher, and not "gentle acceleration 1", "gentle acceleration 2", "gentle acceleration 3", and so on. The longer a player waits to learn this skill from the teacher, the more(or less?) skill points they will have to invest.

This should be applied to all actions that are an improvement of the previous stanza.

This will dramatically lower the list of stanzas available from the teacher, create a better overview. Less reading, more playing...

Ich habe die FPS Anzeige einfach aus dem Einstellungs-Menü genommen und angepasst für den Kompass:

Die compass.xml einfach in den "user"-Ordner des Profils kopieren und Ryzom starten. Eine rote FPS anzeige sollte oben rechts im Kompass angezeigt werden.
