Event: Blackwater Pirates

In these dark winter times, you may have noticed, dark persons wander in Liberty Lake. Mektoub karavans do not reach their destination, dead corpes are found floating in the waters, guards in the towns have doubled and precious good disapear 'suddenly'...

Little is known about these incidents, except for some small clues: prints on the beach of a foot and a wooden leg...
And the sound of ' HAR HAR HAR ' after a karavan disapears.

It seems the Blackwater Pirates haunt the area of liberty lake again!

Homin! We need your help to make the area safe again!

[OOC]
Sunday the 6th of March, at 15.00 there will be a Pirate Event in Liberty Lake!

Maybe you will find the long lost treasure,
or rescue the kidnapped damsel!

Don't miss it!

Post Re: Event: Blackwater Pirates

Now here's an amazing story for you. Today one of those so-called Blackwater Pirates spoke to me.. Well, more threatened to kill me unless I told where to get dappers. Poor misguided soul... *sighs deeply* Ah well.

Here's what happened, I was out running with a couple of friends, we we're after stingas. You know, those plants that put your behind on ice when you trip over them? When suddenly I heard... no I think I smelled him first.. well, I looked behind a tree and there he was: Blackbeard the Pirate! No really! What? You don't believe me? Your not the only one, I don't either. But truth be told I was stunned at the sight. A pirate on broad daylight, alone, and me aswell. I checked for my friends but they were having some stinga fun..

So there I was facing of again Pirate Sxarface, blood rushed in my veins, I could feel the adrenaline building when he slowly turned his head over to me and opened his mouth to speak.

"Arrrr." Was the first the pirate spoke. The famous 'arrr', what was next?

"Arrr, heard you deal in inforrmation matey." You cannot believe how relieved I was! No fighting! Well, not yet. But I was ready for a fight! Yes I was. Anyway I boldy responded.

"Arrr. In jokes mostly." The (humourless) pirate twiched the pirate eye and threatened me the first time. "Watch your tongue matey!" the pirate said while taking a threathening posture. "Or ya'll be walkin' the plank!"

Beng! I hate threaths. They just fall the wrong way with me so before I thought about it I snapped back. "I do that everyday in Fairhaven. Lots and lots of planks!" And realizing what I've done I very quickly asked. "You had a question?"

"Arr..." the pirate went again. Looking foul at me. Oh I pissed him of alright. Not a good start, nope. Bad start. But he seemed to forget it for now and asked me: "Where is the best loot?"

Best loot, best loot?! Oho, Now here I was with a near filled purse and a pirate asking where the best loot was! Not with me, not with me... All thoughts feld from my mind unfortunatly and I asked back: "Hmm, depends what you're after I gues..." Yes! THat's the way to deal with pirates you know. Never tell them anything, let them do the asking! Ha!

Unfortunatly the pirate was convinced I was being a fool now. I know because he didn't say 'Arrr'but just smacked me in the face with: "Dappers matey! Dappers!" Again I thought about my purse. I was burning now I knew it. By now the pirate dapper-ray vision would see it I just know it! But I though of something. Hahaha, this Tryker is not caught with her head in the sand you know!

"Oh, in the ground." I said. "Forage for the material." I said. Boy, did that ever piss of the pirate good. I think he went as red as a balloon! "Arrrr...." He huffing and puffing and I knew something horrible was to follow. "You will be the first to feed the fishes!" He bellowed loudly. I had to think fast, really really fast, else I knew the pirate would have gone berzerk on me. So I said the first few things that popped into my mind.

"Hmmf." I said insulted "It's where I get my dappers. Where else should I get them from?" That stopped him from attacking me atleast, but the pirate let out two mighty bellows. I almost fainted from the breath, djeezz, never knew someone had such bad breath! He could knock out a yubo with it no doubt. "Plunder!" was the first, "Looting!" was the second.

Now I was in deep trouble I knew. Let a pirate tell what he does and he goes do it ofcourse. But again I thought quickly and said to him: "Now that's just silly. Noone would have dappers to buy my materials or crafted armour then." And there you have it! Quick thinking is the saviour all times. "Arrr?" The pirate said obviously totally thrown of track by my great suggestion. I could see the foreskin wrinkle with thoughts as the pirates brain worked full speed.

Alas, his awnser was: "Arrrrrrr, nah." You can't believe what that for dissapointment was. And unfortunatly my big mouth put me right back into the trouble it just got me out of. "Awww." I said. "Why not?" Stupid, stupid, stupid! I could bang my head against a tree, were it not that the pirate was still near said tree... "Lousy landlubber!" he yelled. Now you know I'm a Tryker, and I'm proud of it. That really hurt so I yelled back that him while he was trying to continue "Oi! I'm a full blood Tryker! I have water in my veins to speak!" when I was done yelling I notice he had said more. "No fun in that."

Yes you guessed it, I needed that quick thinking again. Now what would be fun. I knew something. I haven't done it personally, but there are some people around that are worse then those pirates, the pirates atleast admit they are pirates you know? So that's what I said. "Ehh. Not even scam an a$$ into paying you double?" Here I thought the pirate would find that nice. He gets more dappers and do bad things. Wrong again! I had to speak with probably the only pirate with still a twisted sence of honour.

"Arrrr!" He said: "You must have Zorai blood!" And before I got any chance to responds after being stunned from this remark. I mean look at me, I'm not seven feet tall and blue am I? He continued. "Yor a shame for ya blood!" Ah, he tried to con me into doing something stupid again and saying something he could use. But not this Tryker oh no! "Shame, shame! You're a shamefull pirate!" Ehhh, not I'm telling this that wasn't a smart thing to do either.. Oh well.

Anyway, properly insulted the pirate now the pirate was about to attack me when my friends called me. Hearing that the pirate shouted "You will pay for that remark!" And walked away. Ofcourse I shouted the obvious awnser to that after him "With how much of my non-existing dappers!" I yelled. Hehe. What? You wouldn't have done that? Well, you're not me. Interesting tale isn't it? It would be more fun if it wasn't real to be honest.

They are here! Waiting, watching! I'm ready to take them on! Are you too? Together we can give them a run for there dappers they'll never forget!

((OOC:

Hope you all liked reading that, 'cause I sure liked writing that. Anyway. The conversation part of this text are oh so very real. I made a screenie of it and went with it. Left out only 1 sentence that I couldn't fit in sadly...

Thanks to Sxarface the Pirate for talking to me! You rock!
